The thought of someone sticking there head through a sun roof and waving. Just pictured my mum doing that. In my mind im not sure who looked most ridiculous. Her or you saying it

Unless they isolate the present for 48 hours without touching it so any trace of the virus dies.

They could just wipe it down with an antibac wipe, then wash their hands.

my mum has lung cancer. Probs make it til this xmas, deffo not next. The thought of her doing that amused me. And she just wouldnt.
Where as she wont have my little ones all over her she would certainly come nearer than sticking her head out the sun roof.

all thos nonsense has certainly made people have crazy thoughts. Its not thinking out the box, its the world going fuckin bananas

I can take it lol , the americans are mad but i saw some kids having their parties cancelled and all the guests did a drive (with their parents) by , honking their horns and dropping off presents , it looked quite fun

A nice thought. My little 2 are desperate for interaction out of school and theyd love that.

What a boring day! Mrs driving me insane. Missing my dad and his wife won’t let me go up and see him - even at a distance. Totally and utterly pissed off.

I assume "his wife" isn't your mum ?

If I was you I'd just go, and let him know you're going, just meet up carefully outside, there is little or no risk to either of you if you are both sensible. I'm too far away from my parents to justify it, but I would meet them outside if I could, we've seen each other once since last christmas but we talk regularly.

We met up outside with my wife's best friend on Thursday afternoon (hadn't seen each other since July), for a couple of hours walking round some gardens, we kept apart, but I know both thoroughly enjoyed it, even though it rained most of the time we were there.

Both If I remember correctly.
My Registrar daughter certainly mused quite a lot about it as serious illness was very rare under her age (32 - born in 1988).
The MMR vaccine was subsequently dished out to many people in Africa in all age groups, which maybe why they have a comparatively low Covid-19 death rate.

Our youngest was on the train the other day and asked a fellow passenger “do you have gills?” When the passenger said “no”. Our youngest came back with “then why are you wearing your mask round your neck?” The other passenger moved carriages!
