You've given me images of the shellsuit army wandering round with frogs legs growing out of their heads, claiming no knowledge of the missing vaccine shipments.

Hugely positive news on the vaccine approval. , some true hope for 2021.

So 2 weeks in between doses isn’t it and another 2 weeks after the second dose before immunity should be achieved. That means we’ll be looking at early in the New Year for the vaccine to start taking effect based on those who get vaccinated first. Every day on from that point in early Jan will be a day closer to us getting out of this. With more mass testing being mooted as well, we’re now seeing a much welcome multi-pronged assault on this virus.

Yes, think the trick will be keeping supplies coming in, 800,000 doses is great for next week but will we do 800,000 people next week, and does that mean in 2 weeks we give 2nd doses but won't be able to do a new batch of people that week. Guess it's all down to logistics. Still we are on our way out so great news.

I think it's even better than that in reality - some level of immunity will start almost immediately.

I'm not so sure about mass testing, seems to be very mixed views about how effective that will be.

10 million expected by the end of the year they were saying on r4 this morning

manufacturing allowing

then the other 30m next year presumably,

Then there's a lot more of the Oxford one already in UK awaiting approval
 
Boris should award everyone a bank holiday on Thursday 1 & 2nd April and tell as many as possible to hold off on big Christmas gatherings! 4 day weekend.
 
Thank god we are getting our lives back soon!

Will be thankful for little pleasure's going forward. I cant wait to see Bond at the cinema for example!
