They kept it contained in Northern Italy last time. Now its all over Italy. The centres of towns and cities across the Italian nation are so densly packed with unventilated apartment lobbis, corridors and staircases, it could be a nightmare.

Really struggling to get on here. Keep getting stopped by this message. I have this site allowed for cookies and that usually is OK.

Cleared the cache but it has made no difference. Only lets me post if I am lucky.

Working for now but any suggestions from computer whizzes next time it happens would be appreciated.

I didn't once question the MHRA's integrity. I simply asked a question out of curiosity. Thankfully someone else replied, politely and considerably more informatively with no attacks. Anyway, I cba man, please just stop being a dick. I'm not perfect, but I will always apologise to someone if I think ive been rude or i've misconstrued their words. I think it's the least I can do. Have a little humility. I'm a decent person, and I know I did zero wrong yesterday, other than ask a question that you'd decided I wasn't allowed to ask. It's unfair. You might want to actually revisit our posts yesterday, because I replied to you completely civilly and had no issue with anything you asked or said until you said that the questions the Swiss were asking were totally normal, "the sort of question anyone would ask" of the vaccine companies and implied the MHRA were cutting corners because they didn't ask those questions.

That's the point when I pointed out you don't know what's a normal question and what's not.

And I don't believe for one minute that you don't see how saying "What the Swiss are doing here is completely normal, the kind of question anyone would ask" is not implying that someone not asking those questions (ie the MHRA) is not normal.

He’s one of the best in the business! Helps that he often talks a lot of sense.

I tried everything but I have had to access via a different browser and that seems to work. I hope!

About the extent of my knowledge is how to clear cookies which this site has been a particular problem for in the past.

I've read it back. If that's civil, then maybe you're just naturally patronising and we have different standards of how to talk to people. Fair enough.

Edit - once again, I wasn't once questioning the MHRA. That's a promise. If you don't believe me, fair enough.

I think he talks a lot of sense too! Hence why I follow his posts. I also think he can be far too quick to get patronising though when sometimes just a bit of humility will do. Shrug.

They need an urgent investigation into why this has happened as it has been growing apparent for some time now their measures failed and things seem to be doing the exact opposite of the rest of the UK.

If we do not figure out why the same could easily happen everywhere else.

I’ve sent you a PM, but for anyone else experiencing this issue clearing your cookies for Bluemoon should resolve the issue.
 
Come here to look at Covid news. Find a massively pedantic argument about asking questions about if we are right to have OK'ed the vaccine already, and when lots of experts out there ( Fauci included) are asking the same thing the question seems a valid one.

some people need to lose the massive chips they have currently crushing there shoulders and just discuss the points at hand.

Then the user posted paragraph 4 of an article knowing full well it was misleading because the first 3 paragraphs of the article were about how it was wrong, and so was all of the article after the bit they copied and pasted.

And the headline of the article was literally "Brexit did not speed up UK vaccine authorisation".


So why should anyone engage with someone who's intentionally trying to bullshit the rest of us with anything except the contempt they clearly have for the users he's trying to con?

It's my feeling that when someone posts something completely false, I think it should be corrected, so that people reading the thread know it's bullshit.

If no one engages, then it's not corrected, and that false version of events is just accepted. To that end I didn't just reply that they're wrong but also included and highlighted the relevant parts of the article explaining why they were wrong.

You're not the first to say I'm not replying to the person ignoring the evidence in front of them to just repost their false version of events politely enough. I'll take it under advisement.

4 F / 2 M 5 in hospital, 1 in care home. 1 aged 40 - 59, 1 aged 60 - 79, 4 aged 80 +

449 cases 14.7 % positive

7 day total up again to 2752 - this is starting to be a daily rise again sadly.

Care home outbreaks 114 down 5 from yesterday.

402 patients (down from 456 last week)

24 on ventilators (down from 28 yesterday)
 
So 354 deaths today without the England out of hospital to be added.

3 wks v 2 wks v last wk v today:- 342 v 401 v 408 v 354 today - looks good news
