Personally, I think all parties are fine seeing both matters get resolved in the summer. I don't really think Barca are in a panic to get a raw Garcia into their squad. If he had 18 months left in his contract it might be a different story. And as much as City might want Messi, I think they are perfectly content with rolling with the horses they have this season and not 'disturbing' things midseason.

I agree on that . Surely it’s not about money with him but the chance to win trophy’s in a diff league . Tbh I’m not fussed whether he comes of not as I’d like to see the money invested into our future but if he does cone then I will support the decision and cheer him on .

How they would fund and pay the wages of Messi, Naymar, Mbappe, and the rest of the team is anyones guess. They've got away with some FFP magic in the past, but this would be the biggest FFP illusion ever.

If you believe the stories, we've already budgeted for Messi.

To be honest, we hae supposedly signed a world class forward in Icardi but, not only is he becoming fatter every day, he is also consistently injured. He has played less than 10 minutes whole season.

Moise Kean was supposed to be Choupo-Moting replacement while we have sent Kalimuendo get some experience at Lens.

Not a bad move if our star signing (50 M) was actually doing what was expected. So far, Inter got a great deal for Icardi.

I don't think so.

It is Qataris being Qataris. They would want Messi if they ever could get him. Even if that means the rest of the team is made of amateur level players. This would be a disaster.

Mbappé won't renew in any case in my opinion. Neymar has more chance to stay.

Is Mbappé on the kind of money where losing him (plus whatever fee you could get) would let you really bolster the squad is it not that substantial in the grand scheme of things?

It’s a waiting game, we won’t push for it but if messi wants to leave we will go all out to make it the best option.
 
During halftime, Canal+ showed Leonardo answer about the rumours surrounding Messi and PSG.

He said that:
- PSG are focused on their season, they need to qualify for next round of CL knockouts,

- the same way they don't like people talking about their players, they won't talk about Messi who is a Barcelona player. He respects Messi and Barcelona,

- PSG is having some good discussions with Neymar and Mbappé about renewals.

Not really.

Lets say Mbappé is on 18 or 20 M/year (we will take 20 M to get the biggest margin). He is bought for 145 + 35 M. It is roughly 56 M/year spent on him.

If you want to replace him without losing too much quality and add a lot of quality in midfield and on fullback, it is nearly impossible. Unless we find some unearthed gem. Since Lo Celso, i don't think we have found a good unknown player.

Why would Messi want to finish his career in a dog shit league

Mbappa needs to get the hell out of France & go be 2 of the best in the World not France Sunday League

Got no problem with the PSG signings & wages so far as business in the departure line has been good for them but not a chance €200m already for current players wages & adding another €50m ontop would be insane

Add to the fact Naymar also gets endorsements from his face being the embassoder of the fixed World Cup I just dont see it even if hes free

City have so much more to offer than wages, hes got his mate Aguero Pep & New York City + the wages & share of CFG like its already been said on here his legacy & ending has so much more imo

Naymar fucked off to be No 1 in France yep well done sir

CFG 2019-20 finances should be good reading with the start of PUMA , I wonder if our Chinese & Americsn friends will soon have Lionel to advertise??

Mbappé problem is Mbappé problem. Not that he is playing in France.

Mbappé tries to much to play like Neymar while he is no Neymar and never will be. He can't do what the brazilian does. He needs to focus on being Mbappé and play more simple, attack the depth, stop doing his useless tricks and work on his finishing.

On top of that, add the fact he is not so well physically right now and you can see he doesn't beat a single defender anymore.

1 year without a goal in CL for us. Unacceptable for a guy talking so big.


About Messi, i didn't say he would go to PSG. I said that the Qataris will always try. I find it stupid because you are playing mediocre defence and midfield and your attackers are lazy att racking back. And you want to add another gifted but lazy forward for insane wage... Not what PSG needs.

With the World Cup approaching you could see PSG’s owners putting a very attractive package together for Messi
