Maybe, but they don't seem to be able to get a grip on cases.I think wales will have a higher % of older men with COPD because of mining , i think that is why they cant get a grip on numbers of deaths
I really hooe so Kaz, i would love to meet you ore game and buy you a pint or glass of wine.I reckon we will get daves testimonal about sept time , i shall be there if i am vaccinated , i dont want the fucker again
Everyone just about everywhere said shutting down travel in its entirety should be a priority but it was dismissed as a “populist move” at the time by scientists and politicians. They did what we should have done and closed the borders early , we totally wasted being an island . I think they had a problem area but shut that down as well, i get so annoyed at our slow response and the lives lost
It is strange that despite their firebreak it is going up again , has to be compliance or it just spreads like wildfire in an unhealthy population , only covid knows , have to admire it in a medical sort of way , it does its job well, if it doesnt finish you off in your lungs then on it marches to your other organs and of course the fucking damage it does lingersMaybe, but they don't seem to be able to get a grip on cases.
That would be really niceI really hooe so Kaz, i would love to meet you ore game and buy you a pint or glass of wine.
Yeah they could have bailed out the industry like they did the banks that time and perhaps ma y other businesses could have been saved , we will never knowEveryone just about everywhere said shutting down travel in its entirety should be a priority but it was dismissed as a “populist move” at the time by scientists and politicians.
It would’ve murdered the aviation industry but quite frankly I’d rather sacrifice one industry on the altar to save everything else.
Regional Scoreboard:
London 3198 - up from 2376.
I am fairly sure this is the first time London has topped 3000 since the pandemic started. Certainly not in the past 6 months.
Midlands 1581 - up from 1311. But this is the highest regional number outside the south.
North East 542 - down from 586.
Yorkshire 1262 - up from 1116.
But North West - 1518 - down from 1636. Under half the London total and they have been ahead of the north for 2 weeks now. Though the gap is increasing if anything.
The review is on the 16th Dec but isn’t implemented until the 19th. London will still have managed to be in tier 2 for a significant part of December as far a hospitality is concerned. But what happens to Xmas Day bookings in restaurants and hotels on christmas Day etc, if they go into tier 3 six days before, I don’t knowthis will be interesting come the review. Politically boris will be under lots of pressure not to put London into tier 3 in the last weeks before xmas but the numbers fully justify it.
together with the lowering of other tiers to 2 .
it will be interesting.
