Twat. Just beat me!Don’t blame the remainders that just leads to division:-)
You definitely wouldn’t be moaning about people moaning for 4 years, that’s for sure.I can honestly say I have never considered anything in 1912 fella, maybe if I had I would have voted differently. Certainly if I knew about Churchill as well then fuck yeah I would have remained in 2016 just out of shame. Fucking Winston.
Anyhow I’m waiting for Swedish blue to start so I can throw the vikings back at him. I will never shop at IKEA until he apologises for their pillaging of Great Yarmouth. They stole our rock and butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth.
:-)
No warehouse space left. All the firms reliant on just-in-time have "prepared for Brexit" by stockpiling parts, plus PPE stuck in containers with nowhere to go. But obviously it was a choice not to extend Brexit transition just because we have an "unprecedented" pandemic.BBC reporting..
‘Honda has confirmed production at its plant in Swindon could be disrupted as soon as tomorrow, due to congestion at ports causing a possible shortage of parts. Reflects how serious problems at Felixtowe, London Gateway and Southampton are becoming.’
PPE, Brexit stockpiling and Xmas the issues. Supply chains being hit with delays.
I honestly thought they'd shut the Swindon plant last year because of brexit? - great news if it's still going.
I can understand ignorance about Irish history and the importance of the GFA. I can't understand celebrating one's ignorance.I can honestly say I have never considered anything in 1912 fella, maybe if I had I would have voted differently. My understanding is NI will be in both customs unions until there’s a technological way of keeping them in the GFA but out of customs union. There’s an idea.
As part of their self determination in the GFA can they conceivably choose to be while still being British in name only. Like when they win a gold medal at the European Athletics games.
I honestly don’t know but will pay closer attention now to what NI protocol has been agreed. My understanding is NI will be in both customs unions until there’s a technological way of keeping them in the GFA but out of customs union.
Once there is the tech available, NI will vote on the chance to leave the EU CU.
That said, this year I haven’t paid much attention with Covid so I may be talking complete shite.

I'm sorry. Were you serious about voting Renain if only you'd known about 1912 and Churchill? I assumed you were joking. Are you making up lies again about other people’s posts? Actually scrub the question mark it was more a statement of what you did.
I do find the stance of some posters on here really quite confusing re the topic of independence of Scotland from the UK.It is a contradiction and a hypocrisy - as is my wish to leave the EU but see the UK stay united. Nothing wrong with holding a contradictory position based upon poor logic as long as you are honest enough to admit it. If I'm honest with myself then I have to respect Scottish independence if that is what the Scottish people wish.
You say potato...............''Font''
That's one lesson I have taken on board due to Brexit ;-)I wouldn't blame them for 'punishing the UK' at all. If someone acts like a ****, you treat them like a ****.
Would that be another one of those examples of where it seems two players call the shots and the other 25 generally have to follow?Surprised if this decision sticks to be honest...but if does then the outcome of Johnson’s visit will be either the UK accepts the EU deal or it’s no deal.
‘Macron and Merkel agree to keep Brexit negotiations off EU leaders summit agenda‘ @Bloomberg
‘Ownership‘ of something you didn’t have a hand in is a curious notion, given it essentially means taking responsibility for your decisions, at least in this context. It always seems strange when I hear people who will I assume all be living in the same country post brexit telling each other that they 'own' brexit. Unless Boris comes back with a two tier deal which is better for remain voters or arranges for them to get some sort of discount card for shopping everyone resident in the UK will own brexit.
Its what we do ;-)Stop moaning.
You may not want it, but as a UK resident / citizen you still get your share of it. I suppose it's like an unwanted ginger stepchild in this respect?‘Ownership‘ of something you didn’t have a hand in is a curious notion, given it essentially means taking responsibility for your decisions, at least in this context.
The main reason I voted Remain was simply because I thought unravelling over 40 years of a hugely complex series of agreements between nation states would prove to be replete with obstacles: both from the EU itself, and simply as a function of the application of logic. I thought it would prove to be considerably more challenging and problematic than was being widely suggested by others. This doesn’t make me a genius; just someone applying a reasonable degree of common sense to the likely scenario. It absolutely stood to reason that decoupling from the EU would be a hugely challenging undertaking that would (imo), most likely, be far more trouble than it was worth, despite the many flaws contained In the EU. My vote to leave, therefore, wasn’t rooted in indeology, so much as reality as I saw it.
There’s no way, therefore, that I’m going to ‘own’ this reckless fucking abortion. Fuck that.
I have accepted the will of the people since 2016 and consistently posted to the effect that we needed to follow the result of the referendum, for better or worse, because the nation’s best interests demanded it - but I completely refuse to take ownership of the decision in the first place, which has gone (imo) from a reckless mistake to a national fucking embarrassment.
Why the fuck would I want to ‘own’ that?
I guess it depends on your definition of ‘owning’ something. Taking on a stepchild (ginger or not) involves a conscious decision to do so, having weighed up the pluses and minuses. You may not want it, but as a UK resident / citizen you still get your share of it. I suppose it's like an unwanted ginger stepchild in this respect?
hahahahaha. Vote to leave the eu and 'broaden your horizons'. Classic. Are you being a bit limited in thinking UK only
He - a Cypriot - was talking about disenchantment with them - Cyprus having joined the EU
Broaden your horizons mate and think about and discuss the situations of people beyond your immediate locale
