DefinitelyWill be pretty surprised if the team isn’t this:
Ederson
Walker
Stones
Dias
Mendy
Rodri
Gundogan
De Bruyne
Sterling
Mahrez
Jesus
Cancelo for Mendy imo. Rest I agree unless Gundog has a problemWill be pretty surprised if the team isn’t this:

Think Pep trusts Cancelo more. I haven't been his biggest fan but I will admit he's done well at left back. Thought Ake did well last night and think he will get a run there eventually but not SaturdayAnd for me, although Ben Mendy has played well lately, Cancelo is the one for
this match imo, a little more secure at the back.
Having said that, Mendy is fast, and those crosses are improving, so I'll live with it.

Yeah, you could well be right. Just think Guardiola might opt for a natural left footer after seeing the damage Angelino did on Tuesday night. Also, United are a pretty tall side so Mendy's physical presence might swing it for him.Think Pep trusts Cancelo more. I haven't been his biggest fan but I will admit he's done well at left back. He played weakened sides in two derbies and lost both. He wouldn’t have fucking dared do that for Barca in an El Classico.
He either doesn’t know or doesn’t care how much every single game against those cunts matters to us after decades of shite
Let's be honest 6 weeks ago if you said John Stones is an almost certain starter you would have been carted by the white coats. I would never try and 2nd guess the manager but finally we have options again.Yeah, you could well be right. Well I'm glad that Pep sees the derby for what it is: just another league match against decent opposition. The days of City's season being defined by our derby results are long gone. Pep is judged on his performance in all four trophies but particularly the big two, and he picks squads on that basis. Obviously he will go go full strength this weekend. He played weakened sides in two derbies and lost both. He wouldn’t have fucking dared do that for Barca in an El Classico.

That might explain why he has a record of five in in 11 against arguably the worst united outfit in a generationWell I'm glad that Pep sees the derby for what it is: just another league match against decent opposition. United's strength over the last couple of years has been our weakness: quick breaks through channel balls. Also, they have ridden their luck hugely against us. I expect both these factors to be different at the weekend. That might explain why he has a record of five in in 11 against arguably the worst united outfit in a generation
Hope you are rightUnited's strength over the last couple of years has been our weakness: quick breaks through channel balls. Also, they have ridden their luck hugely against us. I expect both these factors to be different at the weekend.
So what you are saying is they’ll score one penalty and put another two wide of the post?Absolutely convinced they are going to do us again, even more so after last night.
City will have 70% possession and 20 shots on goal they will have 3 shots 1 on target and win 1-0.
It's not easy when they will park the bus and we don't take our chances. We are not clinical enough this season. Losing Sergio is not helping eitherPep needs to deliver tactically in this one.
In March when we played at OT shot stats were 12-7 to them and they won 2-0, we had majority of possession but they were creating more chances.
In December in Etihad we lost 1-2, shots were 23-11 for us but again they had more shots on target from that 11 than us from 23.
We did not put away our chances, most of them not even on target.
At the back pretty much a clean sheet is needed imo for us to win as I still do not trust our attacking play to be ruthless with the killer instinct against better opponents.
We played Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs so far from the better clubs, we did not kill Pool when they were there for taking, we managed to win 1-0 only vs a mediocre Arsenal at home while everyone else seems to be beating them, and we were horrible vs Spurs.
Time for Pep to deliver a big game, not gonna be easy but we cannot lose again to this shower of shit. Mourinho went there and ripped them apart 6-1 couple weeks ago. I want something similar. :)
FFS has improved dramatically over the last few weeks.I really like this new look Mahrez, much more substance to his play and more thought going in what he's doing. I would 100% start him and on the other side i would try and create overloads by shifting the ball to Mahrez and then quickly to Mendy in space. United will obviously not play the same formation they did the other day, but i think we can force them into the same patterns.
