I feel quite confident about this game for some reason. If we don't get dicked over by ref/VAR I just feel we're too strong for them if we have lots of movement and quick passing. Mind you, what team to play? Eddie obviously. Walker, Dias, Stones/Laporte (tough choice that one) and Ake at LB for me. Midfield of Fern (he just seems in good nick at the minute), Gundo (slightly further forward of Fern when necessary) and KDB. Up top Sterling (left), Jesus and Torres. Pains me not to include young Phil at the start but his energy and ability to run at people later on might be useful. Aguero as sub if required. But doubtless it will be totally different.......
 
rag cafe is amusing today. Arguing amongst themselves. Half believe they will win the other half believe we will destroy them. Good to see Ole still has some support & lots of in fighting.

Get it right & we really could put another 6 past these. The last few games should of been over by halftime.
 
If Pep really understands our rivalry with the rags then Foden would be the first name on the team sheet.

Not sure I'd agree. No one is a shoe in and rightly so

I’m a fan of Foden and understand why you’d say that, but I’m not sure his recent performances merit a start on Saturday. Think I’d take him coming off the bench and scoring the winner!
 
We need to take advantage of there in fighting and bickering.
Foot on the throttle and show no mercy.

Best game we have played this season imo was the first half at Wolves, where we used Dhino and Rodders as a double pivot and KDB further forward. The pressing and intensity was excellent and if can replicate that first half performance over 90 mins we should be ok.
 
Anyone think Pep might go with a back 4 of ;Walker Stones Dias Laporte. He went with Laporte at home vs Liverpool when we won 2-1 2019 home game. I know we have looked a lot more stable recently but Laporte wouldn't push on as much as Mendy/Cancelo and it would make us much more solid and hopefully take away Uniteds main threat of the counter attack.

Sergio needs 2 goals to equal weetabix heads record number of Manchester derby goals.
He needs 3 goals to equal weetabix heads record for most premier league goals for a single club.
