Always one.

Just read it and accept that we’ve had some of the worst years of government on record in the last year and indeed the last 10 years.

No need to get defensive over it just because you ‘support’ them. It’s an appalling record and we should all be disappointed.

The sad thing is the PM is one of the most able of the bunch of unadulterated fuckwits, morons and halfwits he has assembled as a cabinet.

It is without doubt the most talentless, mindlessly moronic, lying hypocritical and over promoted cabinet in UK history.

He was asked would we deploy naval ships he didn't rule it put and went on about naval vessels always patrol our waters
he was asked would we board foriegn vessels, he swerved the answer
He was asked would we agressively engage foriegn vessels he never said we wouldn't and again tried to swerve the answer.


So no it ain't bollocks, because he never ruled out sinking french trawlers as I stated , he never commited to anything being off the table in protecting or waters.


That is my interpretation of his non commital to peaceful means to deal with any encroachment

I have added the link to the show to my comment he said we will follow international law which doesn't allow random sinking of fishing boats try watching it

I was watching it, watched all of marr show, we can disagree on the interpretation as can others watching your link.

But he was non commital in my opinion on how far we would go to protect our waters and boats can be boarded, the sailors removed and detained and the vessel sunk in internal waters by a nations navy if percieved a threat (like piracy).

I wasn't suggesting they would be randomly torpedoing trawlers but I wouldn't put anything past these clowns to not allow boats to be siezed and sunk if persistently encroaching

That would mean anyone who ever caught SARS2 and had a +ve test would be counted as a Covid death - not going to happen.
The method England & Wales changed to is in place pretty much everywhere else. Scotland, NI, France, Spain, US etc.
Indeed Excess deaths is probably the best measures and we're still 4k-5k ahead of Italy on that score.

I still think that excess deaths is the best measure. The effects of (long tail) Covid19 will be with us a very long time I fear.

I'm not defensive.
Has Wales done better? No on all counts.
Has Scotland done better - Yes in general terms - Definatrly not on care homes.
Have other countries done better Yes.
Have others done worse - Yes Belgium for one.
High population density is the biggest factor and the worst countries in Europe have the highest population densities.
The virus was also seeded all across the UK my skiers returning from their February half term breaks. Then again by holiday markers returning from Spain in August /September (virus genetics).
Not sealing our borders is the governments biggest mistake.
