We were already sovereign and had control over our laws and borders. They were not powerful arguments, they were lies designed to con the hard of thinking into voting for an ultra neo-liberal utopia. The brexit vote wasnt all about the economy. Having power and control of your own laws or borders are very powerful arguements.
being poorer, less well paid or losing your job already happened to millions of people over the last ten years. Short of being homeless don’t see how it can be much worse for most
having control over our own affairs - most people will be delighted
Finally i'll be able to get some proper hash again.FT with border funding scoop... @Cheadle_hulmeBlue from ‘Noddy Land News’ states this is a very positive Brexit development and welcomes the news.
The UK rejects Dover funding bid to double French passport booths via FT - long queues ahead...as other ports also don’t get money they asked for to build #brexit border.
Today we find out what everyone got - but it turns out that 54 ports asked for more than £450m - so a LOT have been bitterly disappointed. Not just Dover...they are furious the government is not willing to fully fund the very borders they mandated.’
Dark web, mate ;-)Finally i'll be able to get some proper hash again.
well considering taking back control was one of the main points talked about during the vote and every election we’ve had after - I’d assume that is one of the main reasons people voted
we also had an election where leaving the single market and customs union was one of the main policies

starting vaccine rollout on the 27th
Germany run the Eu.so wait - we had to leave because it was a bloc that issued rules that we all had to stick to as evidenced by the fact that Germany has taken a unilateral decision to start vaccination?

Great idea. Let’s shut down industry in the UK now so Brexit won’t have any effect. We could also shut down farming as well. That’ll show them.I suppose this at least takes the pressure off the need for a deal of some sort?
Nothing of the sort. No matter how hard you keep trying to make it so.Germany run the Eu.
It shows the order has gone out from Berlin to Brussels to expedite the rollout of the vaccine on the 21st December.
