Rats are everywhere , the birds need feedingUsed to get all sorts when we had bird feeders. Blue tits, coal tits, bullfinches, blackbirds, thrushes, sparrows, goldfinches all in abundance. We've also had fieldfares, green woodpeckers, red woodpeckers, a sparrowhawk and a kestrel. And of course, pigeons, pigeons, pigeons.
Unfortunately we found that bird feeders are also rat feeders and after a few of sightings of big fat rats running across the garden (in broad daylight), the wife decided the bird feeders had to go.
Talk to my Mrs about it. Personally I agree with you.Rats are everywhere , the birds need feeding
