Sam Lee reports training ground is closed for an "indeterminate period". Looks like we've seen the last of City for several weeks.

Not really, me and my work colleague stuck to every rule going, space, face, sanitise, wash hands, sanitise, change clothes, sanitise, bath, sanitise!! Both of us caught it, impossible to rule it out especially in a footballers environment when they are so close together.

This is bullshit. You don't know how it spread. Someone's kids might have gotten it at school, a wife could have gotten it at the supermarket.

For all we know we could have gotten it off someone at Newcastle, they had a mass outbreak and had to close down 3 weeks ago, have 2 players with ongoing cases and we suddenly test positive after coming into contact with them.
 
Whoever allowed that arsenal city game to go ahead on a tier 4 zone should be sacked ASAP and every London’s should be cancelled aswell . They say you can’t travel into and out off a tier 4 zone so why can footballers .

We played Newcastle only 48 hours ago so I’m guessing they were infectious then which just shows how crazy this schedule is during a pandemic.

This is why it was the most stupid idea to play internationl friendlies all over the world during these times. We could have had 1 game a weekseason and it would have been much less risky for other clubs as well.
