Chelsea (A) | Pre-Match Thread

After they find out they need to test everyone to make sure it hasn't spread, otherwise the players on the pitch could be infected. We've found five and isolated them, so the game is safe to go ahead.
Fulham's next game will go ahead unless it's a significant part of their squad.

It's unfair but just like some fans being present and not others, it's just part of this season.

Can anybody explain why we have to play against Chelsea with 3 further players going down with Covid....yet Fulham have their game called off declaring they have more Covid cases ....but not declaring how many ??

We had no more cases from our further tests on Tuesday. Had we have had more, we wouldn't be playing. It's a case of whether you have an active virus in the camp, which Fulham clearly had. It looks like we managed to isolate it pretty quickly.

The issue the other day was there was potential that cases would get out of control.

we now have a lid on cases/spread, fulham clearly do not.

there is no benefit to us postponing another game to be played later in the season.

Worried about this one if Ederson and Walker/Cancelo out. I don't think Steffan is as good as Bravo as back up and who will play right back?

I would like to see a front three of bell Lee and sumerbee

Hate to say it but I just can’t see us winning the league this season. I think pep knows it too and is fairly relaxed and we are gearing up ina season of transition to really go for it next season. We don’t have enough goals in us this season and I can’t see us winning here.

I’m with you on this. We are too inconsistent. We aren’t clinical enough to put the chances we DO make away. If we had, we would be making some arseholes very twitchy. But as it stands, we have 2 games in hand, and I can’t see us winning both.
