Shapps's use of the names Michael Green and Sebastian Fox attracted controversy in 2012. He denied having used a pseudonym after entering parliament and, in 2014, threatened legal action against a constituent who had stated on Facebook that he had. In February 2015 he told LBC Radio presenter Shelagh Fogarty, "Let me get this absolutely clear ... I don't have a second job and have never had a second job while being an MP. End of story."[71]

However, in March 2015, Shapps admitted to having had a second job whilst being an MP, and practising business under a pseudonym.[72][73] In his admission, he stated that he had "over-firmly denied" having a second job.[74] Under the name Michael Green, Shapps had offered customers a "get-rich-quick scheme" costing $497, and promised customers a "toolkit" that would earn them $20,000 in 20 days, provided they followed its instructions.[75] In March 2015, Dean Archer, the constituent previously threatened with legal action by Shapps, threatened Shapps with legal action.[76][77]

No, I responded to your post because Boris was an inept shyster long before he was a politician. The govt has also been similarly inept long before the pandemic. Of course this depends when you consider this govt to have started - after the GE, or after the last labour govt, or some point inbetween.

That’s a very fair response but I came to my view from watching listening to politicians over 40 years. There is no utopia part out there and never will be..

The reasoning just given why his girlfriend has a say in running the country is because she once worked for the tories is irrelevant.

And the Sun journalist doing the paper review has no clue what is happening in Schools and colleges, yet can state bollocks as fact unchallenged, there is no way to have effective social distancing in schools and is a daily and frustrating task getting adolescents to keep masks on and distance.

Marr's doing his best, but the neverending sentences are bloody hard to follow (deliberately).

He's now claiming that the AZ vaccine is something "we" have pioneered. Nope, Oxford with AZ's support have generated it - "we" have had sod all to do with it.
