Should Have asked if they were 2nd or joint top at the end of the 11/12 season

Would have thought they would have known what goal difference is when comes to losing league titles
Like every rag that as been firmly removed from their tiny little minds

Firstly, the sheer flowing brilliance of City must be fully acknowledged, the final 3-1 scoreline nowhere near a true reflection of their superiority despite having to field a side seriously weakened by Covid-19 and injury.

The manner in which they made light of their reduced circumstances was a serious statement of intent in the context of the Premier League. They had not hit top gear this season but this was overdrive and then some.

I need to sit down.
I dont think McNulty is anywhere near as bad as Stone the red snide

Colin Schindler’s shameful anti-Arab dog whistle piece when he denounced his City fan status following the takeover. And then came crawling back when we started to win stuff
Oh I thought he still hated us, all his crap on twitter certainly suggests so.

hes also not thick as fck, he’ll have seen plenty go & end up disappointed & that he is getting plenty of game time. I’m certain he’ll be told his targets & expectations regularly.

I heard a blue slagging off pep for putting him on with 2 mins to go & I have wondered if that can be strategic for the team whilst resting him but maybe he could get bonuses. Maybe things kick in at certain intervals, 100 games etc

just watched his interview & he called pep a genius & he’s really happy.
I'm certain that some managers use late subs to help players achieve bonus targets. Expect the chairmen just love that!

Correct and he was burned out pretty young as was Michael Owen who played over 100 games before he was 21. Most of the football reporters at SKY (and some of the pundits) appear to be total morons who don't have a clue what they are talking about.
Overplay a young player and you risk wrecking him. See Trevor Francis and many others.

Just caught the end of the Football roundup on Granada. More than half the item was spent on Monday and Pep defending him. The game was brushed off in cursory fashion. By contrast Bingo Klopp's eulogy showed the demented one as being reasonable saying the title's wide open. As I type they've shoehorned Gerry Marsden in and that magical night in Istanbul. Never seen Meacock the Hutt so animated!

No agenda natch!
BBC Breakfast got several references on Gerry Marsden in their show this morning nearly all of them showing the mass of red scarves on the Kop and the dirge they film every bloody match.

I have nothing against Gerry who was part of my childhood and it struck me that many of the those singing his praises knew very little about him as his flame only flared relatively briefly.

RIP Gerry. I remember you for your cheerfulness singing corny songs not just as one of the many singers of a song from a 1945 musical.
