Colin Bell, my hero, watched him from his first game to his final game, for me the best player ever to play for City, he will always be the King. Colin Bell without injury would have gone on to be one of the best players the world had ever seen, and Manchester City would have won more League titles, and cups without doubt. A true City legend who will be sorely missed by all City fans, absolutely gutted a very sad day for all of us, we must make sure he is always remembered, LONG LIVE THE KING.

I was fortunate to make my debut as a Cityfan at Maine Rd when he returned from injury vs Newcastle.
However I was not do fortunate to have seen so little of the man as a player.

it’s a sad day for Manchester, City and football.

Just found out the sad news absolutely gutted. Anybody who was there versus Newcastle when the King made his return after Buchans assault will remember the moment he stepped on the pitch forever. The emotion around Maine.Rd was unbelievable. Legend is a much used word but Colin was and will always be a legend.A true gent and heaven has gained an angel. RIP THE KING.

This moment has proved how much Colin Bell has meant to my life. This man made my life bearable from school days to my work life, I suffered like most with the rag taunts but never ever did they have a player the calibre of Colin.
For me this man was truly beyond compare.
