Wasn’t even born during his era, but my Dad adored him. Seen enough to see what an amazing player he was, devastating. I’ll be raising a glass and drinking a drink to the King tonight. :’(

RIP The King. Don’t mind admitting it. I am 56 and shedding a tear. Him and Tueart were my childhood heroes.

You were before my time but the foundations of the club we are today were built in part to you and your success.
The large support which kept this club alive in the late 90’s, I have no doubt many of these fans, when I was just a young teenager, had grown up idolising you and it was the spirit from that success that kept the candle burning until the successes of recent times.

Never met him, never saw him play, with the exception of youtube/Bell, Lee, Summerbee Video, but I feel absolutely gutted hearing this news. RIP Colin the King.

I’m totally stunned and inconsolable at the moment, he is my hero and always has been, I thought he would live forever.
