Mike, by ignoring Morgan you are missing out on the presenters self-perceived erudition.
He is the world's leading authority on everything, he has the solution to every problem and there's not a politician in Westminster as smart as him. We should declare a republic with "Gob Almighty" as leader.
and if he thinks they got a good point he'll shout over them to suit him

I know. I am just a simple soul who thinks he is a cruddy ****.
At the time of the Grenfell Towers fire l had a reception problem on BBC and in a few days I had a lifetime's worth of him shouting in complete ignorance often at the wrong targets and then seeing tabloid reports backing him in a ' you tell 'im, Piers' sort of way.
But worst of all is the visual reminder of how Oh Susannah sold her soul to the devil and ending up in the straight role to the Gob Almighty.

Not sure this belongs here but didn't think it was worth it's own thread. Has anyone noticed Youtube heading down the slippery slope of censorship? Is this a sign of things to come across social media?

I've not been able to use my youtube account for over 2 weeks now, they suspended my account but the reasons were vague, they said it was because my content was offensive and that they don't allow repeated violations, so my channel has been removed. Pointing at it being a youtube channel content related issue.

So I appealed, to tell them my channel was empty and asked why didn't anyone check this before issuing a suspension?

Anyway they replied, said they looked into it and found I had not breached the Terms of Service and the suspension had been lifted. So I logged in... They lied, I'm still not able to use youtube and I'm not able to appeal again because you only get one appeal. From there, there is no way to contact them other than the support forum, which they simply ignore and let other google users reply with "help".

I also said in my appeal, if it was to do with the comment sections, which not the reason I was given but it's pretty much the only thing I log in for and I do give as good as I get to be fair. I said I'd want the comments shown in the full context, including what I was responding to, otherwise they haven't adequately explained their justification. I suspect they just take the report button at face value, judging by the generic email they sent. I generally only swear when someone's initiated the abuse and rarely say anything hostile unless someone is blatantly trolling with inflammatory remarks where they shouldn't be. In that context, it would be hard for them to justify a suspension of my account. Which is probably why they conceded that I hadn't violated the terms of service.

I do know communities such as the LDBC(boxing) specifically target people's channels(successfully having them taken down unfortunately) if they say something about Wilder they don't like for example. I'm sure it's the same with anti-City clowns, who can't argue with what you've put forward. This is what I think is happening and I've noticed in the support forum, it's a growing problem and youtube support is generally none existent. One guy was saying he only uses youtube to watch fishing videos and he's been banned with no explanation for over a month. It looks like, unless you run your own channel, they wont be sorting your issue and even then you could be unlucky.

It's not that big of a deal, I can make a new account easy enough and I've quite enjoyed the break tbh. It's the principle of the matter though, for such a popular product to beable to deny service without providing any details of the supposed breaches, doesn't seem right. It opens things up for certain groups to abuse the system to censor opinions they don't like. Can you imagine for example, a future where they are able to just ban City supporters who simply correct misinformation across all of social media, in the midst of the constant barrage of anti-City propaganda?

Use bitchute.com - youtube is on par with facebook now.

Well there is that but it's the most popular channel platform and if everyone did that, nobody would be correcting misinformation and the bullshit would circulate forever more. I suppose I'm going to have to bite the bullet and create a new account.

Two kids are playing football in a park in Manchester, when one of the kids is suddenly attacked by a huge rottweiler, luckily the other kid finds a plank of wood and shoves it in the dogs collar and twists it and breaks the dogs neck.
A man in the park witnesses this and says to the kid, "That was amazing! I'm a journalist for the Guardian, I would like to write an article about what just happened."

He starts writing a headline, "United fan saves friend from dog". The kid says, "I'm not a United fan." "I'm a blue".

The journalists starts again, "City fan murders family pet in cold blood!"

At the time of the CAS case, Henry Winter wrote a very poor and inaccurate article in the Times. I complained but got no satisfaction.
In fairness, then, I must report his excellent tribute to Colin in todays paper. Read it if you can.

There are several like us who dislike her know all attitude but for me she was particularly grating as she had probably had never heard of Colin Bell until he died.
Her huge wardrobe pisses me off too. I much prefer dithering mumsy Auntie Louise.
Louise is a GILF

I wouldn't get your knickers in a twist over CIES rankings. There's genuinely no bias in them, it's just their methodology can whip up some interesting results.

From 2017-2019 Otamendi was the highest rated defender in the world by their measures. Sometimes the outright no1 player.
And they were right!

I was just thinking the is a nice, giggly pleasant woman compared with the other regulars but now you bring it up - IMIIGTC.

It feels like the Centurions season when I listened to the MSM this morning. Talksport were running with stories about Lampard and Ole not being good enough and that's pretty much been the tone with the rest of them.

City break other teams is what is happening.

In that Centurions season, every time we beat each of the top 6 teams the next day the MSM was full of stories about how Maureen didn't know what he was doing, or that Poch was on his way out unless things changed. It was like we destroyed the opposition so much that the media then looked for a scape goat (They certainly werent going to admit it was just that City and Pep were THAT good).

I am seeing the same today, and that's a sure sign that things might be getting on the right track......

  • We beat Utd - Ole doesn't know what he is doing
  • Beat Chelsea - Lampard is out of his depth
  • If we beat spurs - Maureen cant win finals
  • If we beat Arsenal - Arteta will be on his way tbh
  • If we beat lfc - stories about ffp/cheating/City racism will surface (The MSM dont want to upset their only hope)

When City beat the top 6 clubs we dont just beat them we destroy their whole season - With quite a lot of help from the furious media

Hi Pep, Jamie Jackson from the Guardian, a poll today in our paper says conclusively that Bruno is better than Colin Bell? Any thoughts?

Absolutely you better believe it, The way he solves those murders every week on Death in Paradise, hamazing.

It's funny cause it's true.
