More people are working than last time without a doubt.

Main reasons in my opinion.

many have had it.
fear of losing jobs.
weather shit.
novelty of being at home gone.

Manufacturing is open and obviously you’ll know that construction is also open , back in March practically everything shut down

I can understand the desire to keep them open, but with so many new members at clubs in Scotland,so little else to do, and so few daylight hours at present, there must inevitably be a concern over congestion and people gathering.

Local to me is Marland Golf Course and like all others is closed to golfers. So I took my two dogs on there for a run around. (Several others had the same idea) Took about half an hour, before two jobsworths from the office came telling us we can't be there. Mate I was with is a police dog handler, and had his with him, then quickly sent them scurrying off telling them it's a public not private course, and they cannot stop the public from being on there... on a plus side, my two found six golf balls this time around... Fore! :D

I live close to Romiley Golf course and they are brilliant and encourage the local public to walk their course as long as you don’t walk on the greens & bunkers . Fair play to them , great public relations

I think its only being highlighted as being investigated as possible cause of their own horrible trajectory. It will be mutating in lots of countries but some of those mutations may stand out as cause for concern. This may be the case here, or it may be nothing.

That's clear but my feeling is that more contagious variations are everywhere and it's more a case of where any individual country is at any given time.

You can't possibly know what the R number is since lock down. There's no data. And what I'm on about at this point is action *before* Christmas, when most of England was tier 2 or 3. That's what cost lives.

A health care assistant on 17k a year should never have ever had to see or deal with the shit shes had to deal with for the last 9 months so to see the weight fall off her shoulders hour by hour knowing her vaccine is on its way is mint

Just a shame shes probably never ever going to forget the mental scars of what's shes gone through this year

It’s very frustrating running in Heaton at the moment, no fucker gets out of the way, families or groups spread 4 people wide right across paths, just ignorant cûnts the lot of them. I just cough as I approach, usually does the trick.
