TV Series

We are struggling to find anything decent at the minute. We have been watching Ratched but we have just watched, I think, episode 6 which was one of the most ludicrous episodes I've seen of anything. Other than that I have decided to watch Spaced on Netflix which passed me by the first time around. I am enjoying that a lot.

Heard that Ratched was shite from various sources so never bothered with it. Shame as I like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
 
Recent watching:
Discovery of Witches (sky) - great cast but just clichéd vampire shite

Traces (BBC) - enjoyed. Didn't draw out needlessly. Some great performances.

Black Narcissus BBC - worst/slowest series in years. To call it drama is an over statement (premis is promising - Nuns masterbating in a former brothel on top of a mountain with ghostly goings on ...)

It's ok, don't expect it to be in the style of the film or play and remember it is made by the people who made AHS, Scream Queans, glee and nip/tuck and then you know what to expect from it

I enjoyed it but from the first episode I knew I wasn't getting a show to compare against the film
 
Series 1 of The Returned (Les Revenants). Thought it was excellent. Might appeal to admirers of Twin Peaks and Lars von Trier's The Kingdom (Riget).

The Pacific was also good. Never saw Band of Brothers but might make an effort to now.

Yeah I like AHS actually. Like you say it will be popcorn watching.

Series 1 of Les Revenants is excellent. Band of Brothers is another I wanna finally watch this year. HBO shows are brilliant.

Didn't mind it to start with, quite stylish and I like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest too, so thought I'd give it a try. But the latest episode just undid any good that they did at the start of the series

Finally started Vikings.

2 episodes in and I can feel it slowly gripping me. Trying my best not to binge the shit out of it
