Why? Im usually pretty upbeat on team selections. Anyway there is still enough in that side to beat Palace, just think having Foden or even playing a winger would give us more of a chance to break them down.

Bit disappointed with the team. Not sure where the goals are going to come from with that side. Foden has made us more direct and incisive of late so worried we will miss that against a side who will camp in with a low block. If he did require resting Villa would have been a better game for me.

We can’t play out best XI every week, and it might be that the plan Pep has got against Woy’s tactics and personnel means this is the best XI for this particular game.

Sterling and Jesus are passengers on recent form , maybe they are due a decent game , at east we have Foden on the bench to enter they fray and win the game for us.

I don’t mind them playing but if they aren’t performing they should be subbed, same goes for everyone. Need one or both to grab a goal tbh. It’s due.
