Thought we had fining people for ages , need to put them in a cell for the night , the organiser anyway
Not for everyone. Just the organisers. Who could just recoup it from all those attending. So it was peanuts.

It always should have been a big fine for everyone there.

That is a deterrent not just a ticket fee.

This press conference seems to have a very angry tone, I think they are getting pissed off with people, they are basically shouting at the camera. Good on them, should’ve been done earlier.

Hurrah!. A hefty fine for everyone who attends a party.

An obvious thing mentioned in here that is way overdue.

You want a party you accept the fine as a fee you charge all who attend.

Most will not pay £800 fines each.

Just seen that this is only applicable to parties of over 15 people. I wonder how the cut off was calculated, why not 10? Or perhaps even less. 14 people at a house party is pretty huge and completely out of order in the current circumstances.

No one cares though. There’s not exactly any repercussions for doing stupid shit (like attempting to jump the vaccine queue) so why should anyone listen?

Ivermectin is not going away. Financial Times now pushing this, not some crank site. Really seems to be something notable.

"A cheap, off-patent antiparasitic drug has been shown to have a significant effect in reducing mortality in patients with moderate to severe Covid-19. Researchers have hailed the preliminary finding as a pivotal step towards broadening the arsenal of drugs used against the disease.

The University of Liverpool’s Andrew Hill and others carried out a meta-analytical breakdown of 18 studies that found that ivermectin was associated with reduced inflammation and a faster elimination of Sars-Cov-2, the virus that causes Covid-19.

In six of these trials, the risk of death was reduced by 75 per cent in a subset of patients with moderate to severe Covid-19."

Regional Scoreboard highlights:

West Midlands, South West up but only by tiny numbers. 38 and 17 respectively

London up quite a bit - by 1545 to 7735.

Every other region down. By between 100 and 500 only.

North West falls the most - by 847 to 4431.

All a show. Schools were told by DfE this week they would lose all funding for nursery children if they weren’t seen to be encouraging their attendance. And they massively widened the key worker criteria. And some parents are selfish arseholes. We had SEVEN kids in during 1st lockdown all children of NHS or care home staff. We have 72 in next week with more to follow. This will kill people. Parents brothers sisters, teachers TAs caretakers, it will help overload the hospitals so forgive me but their shouting is all a facade ( and yes, I do know it should have a cedilla!). They are utterly fucking inept and downright lethal
