Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

And going jolly well too...

Boris Johnson tells Scots they had a 'once in a generation' independence referendum in 2014 and attacks 'pointless constitutional wrangling'. @Mail
Good grief. Was Ruth Davison there? I could imagine her eyes rolling above a mask hiding her expletives.

International media aren't bothered about calling Johnson out. Shame his Etonian mates running ours think otherwise.

That’s the spirit! Boris is glad to have you back on the Union Bus. It’s a great bus, it has “Fuck off you Jocks!” on the side of it.

#HeartsAndMinds.
Its not just Boris, its all the other true Brits on here that have such comprehensive arguments about why the Union is right for us winging, sponging, swivel eyed loon, Scots. Good job we know our place in the pecking order.

I have waxed lyrical on many occasions about Johnson’s leadership ‘skills’. Today I heard a quote which I thinks sums it up nicely. one of the traits of a leader is to have Empathy. ‘Leadership is not about being in charge, but about taking care of the people in our charge’. We are all in his charge unfortunately and at present he has over 100 000 of us dead. If you want to see how it should be done just see Jacinda Ardern.

It'll be buried by the party like the accusations of antisemitism against candidates and MPs during the 2019 election campaign.

don't forget Baroness Warsi's complaints about Islamophobia that go un-addressed. They really are being given and easy ride by the press across the board................fancy that

What will stick with me is 100 thousand people off the pensions and benefits bill, the sick and the poor people of this land

including black and Asian communities it really is a horrendous death toll. All shades of MPs would have been just as incompetent it is about money as usual

To have empathy one needs understanding. You can show sympathy without understanding.

Johnson can not show empathy because he can not relate to people who live lives different to his. This is not a criticism, it is an observation. Rees -Mogg is the same, he can not relate either. They can offer sympathy but because they lack understanding and empathy it is often disingenuous. Like I say it is not their fault as they are as much a victim of the British class system as anyone else.

IDS is a classic example of this, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that he thought his reforms of the welfare system would make people's lives better, but because he cannot empathise and lacks the understanding of what it is like to live on welfare or be poor he designed UC to appeal to what he knew , thinking people were like him.

Johnson does the same, he thinks the world is like Eton and that people have good lives as that is what he knows. He think's it is normal to be boastful and be full of braggadocio because the people he interacted were all from that world.

Ask any of them how much a pint of milk is and they will not know. They will not know that beans are cheaper in Lidl than ASDA, because they have never had to know these things.

Like I said this is not a criticism and it is not only Tories that are like this, it is an observation as to why at times politicians seem so distant from actual reality.

Couldn't have put it better. Thanks Rascal.

He is utterly fucking useless (and that's coming from someone who helped to vote him in). Totally incapable of making a decision because he's too concerned over any negative reaction he may get.

He wouldn't have lasted a week in the Armed Forces as a NCO but would have made a good (as in typical) junior Commissioned Officer.

I have to disagree with you there about a junior Commissioned Officer. I met many, many of them and even the cavalry hurrah Henry’s were better than him.

Why are you bringing race into it and what background people are from?

There’s been whispers on here of people beginning to get their tin foil hats out to suggest it was done on purpose and I hope you’re not going down that road.
