Cornwall

Falmouth....lots of Mancs there.

Even Fonso moved there

Went to falmouth in October 2019 to the maritime museum thought it was great with the titanic exhibition.
Plus the car park we used was having maintenance work carried out on the payment machine so we could park for free lol

There has been a lot of programs on sky recently about the Cornish fishermen. An absolute beautiful place in all respects. What a crying shame FlyBe went under as they used Newquay airport. Could have flown down in 45 minutes and hired a car
And BBC, This fishing life. Apart from the politics of declining fish stocks, it's a travelogue of fishing villages.

Would have to tell Andy Morrison if you did.

I get that. I'd hate grockles too if i didn't make money from them. So many homes in Cornwall are somebody up the line's 2nd home so I understand the locals grievances.

Yeah Cornwall is superb. Wouldn't live there myself only because I prefer the hustle and bustle of a city life and not knowing everything about everyone.

Nah I am
Grockles?

Isn't it Emmets in Cornwall?

I went to the Eden Project in September - one way limitations at the moment, but quite enjoyed it.
St Michael's Mount was also a good visit.

St Mawes is pretty relaxed, across the water from Falmouth. Excellent ice cream, as also found in Mousehole.
6 pages in and finally a mention of St Michael's Mount! Nice walk when the tide is out
@Tueartsoverhead kick goes every year to Cornwall.

Culture vultures head for the open air theatre.

Or seek out the Fisherman's Friends...

We've tuned into those Vic and a very interesting watch. The episode with the only full time lady fisherman in Cornwall was par-excellent and have to say Nickie was an absolute grafter.

Very sad that Boris sold them short to get the deal over the line. The quotas the fishermen had to work with compared to their French and European counterparts were quite frankly ridiculous.

If any one has not watched this 8 part documentary series then you are in for a real treat and what a beautiful county. Falmouth is a great mini city and well worthy of a sniff, we stayed there in the services for our deep dive workout. Used to be a famous resident dolphin living there appropriately named Beakey, maybe still doing the rounds all these years later. I think they bat on for over 60 years plus so who knows?

On a separate note trying to remember the aircraft museum we visited many times with the kids, if anyone's into aviation it's a cracking day out.

Get yourself down to Sennen Cove near Lands End... stunning

And just the other side of Lands End, Porthcuno is stunning to. Go swimming in the sea there. Once a surfer told me to get off his wave !!!
