Deadline day on sky lol how they try ha ha big fat sam signs 5 players while arry tells us tales ov windows gone past

was it ever actually established why benardo’s racism has been brought up again and why pep was forced to mention it?

Good to see local news showed the scousers' goal and listed their potential transfer targets.

Decided not to mention our record breaking run or that we're top of the league. Or even factually reporting the PL results this weekend.

Nited's bottle job v Ass not spoken of either.

Bit pathetic but not unexpected from Sports Department based at Salford Quays. Still the did report on a Rochdale fan who will have a tribute statue raised.

On Sly Ally Mccoist declared he was disappointed with Manchester City's transfer business. Perhaps we should be panic buying like the mickeys.
Even on the Rochdale fella passing they managed to get the law best charlton in tho.

If he was looking down he'd be pissed off about that without a doubt.

Silly Sally gives announces the signing of the two nobodies by Liverpool as part of the world/national headlines at 0700. What a distorted sense of priorities the BBC have.
It will interesting to see how much Sally can gush about these earth shattering deals at 0740 - after the local news has mentioned them again. Meanwhile City's latest record remains unreported.

They were ecstatic on north west tonight last night that the dippers beat West Ham. Back in the title race,I didn’t find out how City got on at the weekend. We must be mid table.

This article highlights exactly how the BBC have fallen behind in their standards over recent years.

Birmingham City have signed Manchester City striker Keyendrah Simmonds on a two-and-a-half-year deal and Southampton defender Yan Valery on loan until the end of the season.

Blues have not revealed if they have paid a fee for the 19-year-old
Ok, which one is the 19 year old? Also, The Blues.

Frenchman Valery, 21, has made 37 Premier League appearances for Saint
Saint, not The Saints?

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Blues striker Miguel Fernandez has joined Spanish third-tier side CD Guijuelo on loan until the end of the season.
Again, who are the blues? More than one team mentioned in the article could, and indeed does, play in blue. Which clubs has Miguel Fernandez left?

Maybe I'm being pedantic, but I'd say those are basic, very basic, skills and requiemeents for any decent article or journalist to try and convey. That attempt is akin to something I'd expect to read off an Asian premier League news fan site where English isn't even their first language.

Crap like this gets posted on the BBC sports pages daily, quality checks out the window on both content and comprehension.

Well Silly Sally doesn't disappoint as the Red Queen, giving her report against a pic of Davies in a Liverpool shirt in front of a bright red advertising board and then the gaudy redness of the dipper museum last used by the BBC on a Covid report. Silly cow wears a red top and vanishes into the redness.
Then the Rashford abusive tweets is brought up for the third consecutive morning. It seems that the abuse suffered by the other four players was not important but how dare anyone upset St Marcus.
OGS incoherent as usual but l doubt he condemned the apparent United fans who abused three of his players.

Was surprised on NWT to see a report from St Marcus of Rashfords old boys club to see them interview a guy in a City hat. Someone slipped up there.

Just had an email from the BBC about what I thought of the 'service' and the licence fee. I hope you don't mind or think it presumptuous, but I think I answered for all of us. I tried to treat their appalling news and sports coverage the same and named checked Kussenberg with Roan and Stone and compared their ethics to the Sun.
I really tried to keep it short, because they probably wont read it, but if you don't hear from me again, it will prove my accusation of goverment and police collusion. No need to thank me, just taking one for the team.
I did the survey as well.
I answered the 1-10 stuff and I said i liked the bbc ... but then I talked about the bias reporting against City and the bias reporting for Liverpool/United.
Ie many compare and contrasts.
I also called them out on the distinct lack of articles about the other 18 clubs in the PL, let alone the other leagues, and asked whether they were just chasing clicks (like every other media organisation), so why were they not ‘different’ being funded by a different way and being a public service to the entire football world, not just a team in red.
I finished with wondering how Roan is still head of sport/working after his Leicester owner comments and City stuff.

Did she mention they will go top if they win tonight?
