look I hate the Cxxts like we all do but it’s a league game where goal difference could be the difference between winning and losing the league

ive also no problem with us scoring 9 v Burton and remember wanting us to get 10

I’ve not once mentioned to the deluded pricks they played 10 men for 89 minutes v an already injury hit side, leave em to it, they know it’s a farce result
That's kind of the point though isn't it? He was just pointing out the difference in reporting, they made it seem like City did something wrong or it wasn't classy. Southampton were down to 10 men in the second minute before any goals were scored and then down to 9 men at 7-0. Wasn't 7-0 enough at that point? The goal difference will affect Southampton too, so the "moral" argument doesn't hold any weight for me. In fact, this will damage Southampton more, who have lost 4 on the bounce, so shouldn't it been seen as more "immoral"?

In a cup game it doesn't matter how much you get beat by, all our result meant was the next tie was in the bag which meant we could rest as many as we wanted for the next leg. This on the other hand could utterly destroy Southampton's confidence, other PL clubs(Burton just went back to playing league football) would sense that and before they know they could be in a relegation battle with a crap goal difference.

I can see why he brought it up, the press do my head in too, lets stop giving them free passes because we've come to accept their biased shite.

Just seen the Martial collapse despite ........ nothing, an absolutely non-challenge. Bednarek simply ran near to him, how the fuck can VARce not turn that over?. Insult to injury the cheat also gets a pen (quelle surprise) and another cheating twat (Dean) sends Bednarek off for running too close to the diving shit. The Southampton VAR disallowed goal(s) were shocking too.
Despite Southampton being abject, those sort of decisions will ultimately turn football into a laughing stock. Dean is a disgrace, him and VAR dry-fucked Southampton hard with a caveman's mace, and what's worse, the whole world saw it happen.

Southampton should be sacking the manager today, regardless of what else he may have done to lose 9-0 on two occasions in 2 seasons is totally unacceptable.

I said this on an Instagram post from the BBC and I’m now getting dogs abuse from Saints fans, highly amusing how they accept being beaten twice 9-0 as acceptable.

Pity they can't sack the shithouse players who downed tools

P.S is anybody investigating the Southampton player after getting sent off in the 1st minute? The tackle was so ridiculous it couldn't have been legit.
Just seen the 'tackle' and whilst a bad one did anyone notice how high Mcwhateverisnameis's foot was. It could easily have been the other way around except we all know a red wouldn't have been given

I agree they were a disgrace, but even so the manager picks them and buys them.

At 3-0 he could have just put everyone behind the ball, there is no excuse for a Premier League team to ship 9 goals

Mentioned this in another thread yesterday, but I'll ask the question again;

Why the f*ck was the Piscan at that game last night during a NATIONAL LOCKDOWN?

Even if he's on the payroll, he certainly isn't essential to the running of the club on a day to day basis. And it's not like the c*nt couldn't have watched the game on TV.

With the gift of hindsight, do we think that a particular Spurs side regret not obtaining a 4th / 5th / 6th etc against a certain Manchester City side that had an un-tested goalkeeper between the sticks, injured key goalscorer subbed, were on a shocking run of formm and token gesture gobsh1te Scouser (thank you again Sir Joseph) sent off at half time?

I don't think i've ever seen another game where the players completely give up as soon as the first player is sent off.
Shameful stuff from the cowards in the Southampton side
I've seen Everton sides who've bottled games in a less embarrassing manner, and that is quite an achievement.

Could say the same about Mike Summerbee....

In a similar vein, I swear I heard on Radio 4 last week a comedy show which began with:

'And first, the answer to last week's competition - Fill in the missing words of the song title 'I Can't Help Falling.. (blank) (blank) (blank) (blank)'.. Of course the correct answer is 'In Love With You'.. but we had an interesting response from a Monsieur Martial from Manchester who wrote in suggesting that the title was already complete..'
