A draw is a good result to eliminate loonypool from the title race but we also could do with the three points to start pulling away from the rags and Leicester.

This is the team for me..Foden should exploit TAA well for us to win the match.
 
Did not like how we didnt go for it in second half vs Pool earlier this season. They started better at Etihad but then we quickly came back into the game and KDB missed to be even on target from the penalty to put us ahead just before HT which is criminal and then second half Pool was happy with the draw and unfortunately we were as well.

Now they are in worse form but of course they can raise their game against us and Oliver might chip in too for them. Still they are missing important players especially in defence, we simply need to put pressure on that defence instead of playing for the draw which isnt a bad result now btw but still I think circumstances are good enough now for us to get a huge result and push it down their throat.

Sterling for me does not start this, he misses easy chances a lot, he fears of playing at Anfield, bring him on later on against tired defenders and start Torres imo or Foden.
 
These c*nts will be up for it after the Brighton defeat. They know if they lose against City, it's all over as far as retaining the PL title goes.

The heavy metal manic press for the first 30 minutes will be insane. That has caught us out before on numerous occasions.

We need to play safe, beat the press, keep the ball, weather the storm, and try and get the 1st goal. That goal should knock the stuffing out of them, and bring the collevtive team and individual doubts flooding back again.

What we don't need to do us to concede another early goal at Anfield.
 
no lose game for city and will be top anyway ? unless the trafford rangers score 5 or 6 and city get a thumping
we have a game in hand and 4 points if liverpool beat us and the real title challenge
 
One concern is that as good as Gundogan has been, he generally struggles against the red scousers. Let's hope it's different this time

I think his confidence is flying and this role now suits him to a tee. He wont be the one being pressed by maniacs. He'll be the one to find the pockets of space between their lines.
 
Pep could spring a suprise and play fern and rodri with gundo in front, then a front 3 of Bernardo, foden and jesus, a very mobile.front 3.
I can see arnold getting caught high up the pitch and foden causing havoc down that left side for us.
