I agree with that, him on the right and Foden left.

I thought he was decent last night, more willing to run with the ball and had a bit more belief. Still has an inconsistent touch and some poor finishing / decision making. That said his poor touch helped him squirm away from the defender in the lead up to the first goal.

Don’t think him and Jesus are far away from good form.

Fingers crossed on both fronts

He’s scored double figures for the 8th year running. Closing in on becoming the 30th player to score 100 Premier League goals (in a race with Mané and Salah). Slowly coming into form at a great time. Club’s top scorer.

Can’t wait for him to terrify Liverpool on the weekend.

How is he coming into form exactly as recent match day threads as well as this one would suggest otherwise.

His record against the rags and dippers is woeful, so why do you expect it to change on Sunday?

Don’t want to see him hear the starting line up on Sunday. He’s proved many of times that he doesn’t perform against either United or Liverpool. Guaranteed to miss a 1v1. But then again, Mahrez never turns up in these games either, both bottlers.

Sterling's record against Liverpool last 8 games:

1-1 (h) probably meh

4-0(h) - mugs Gomez to win penalty and then mugs Gomez to score
1-3 (a) - single-handedly takes on Liverpool, the crowd and Gomez (lol). Wins Man of the Match on here by a mile.
1-1 (N) - meh pre-season friendly. At least he scored

2-1(h) - excellent 2nd half. Ran-off Robertson 4 or 5 times, should have had pen, created better chance for Aguero than the one he scored from, run and assist for Sane
0-0 (a) - can't remember

1-2 (h) - CL home... mugs VvD and creates 1st goal
0-3 (a) - CL away - came on as 2nd half sub, quiet but ripped Roberston a new one for the most blatant penalty (not given) that even Steevie effing G thought it was a blatant penalty.

Woeful my arse.
