He is slowly improving.

Starting to actual dribble with the ball past players, not with much end product but for months he seems afraid to even try it and would only ever try a 1-2.

End product still not great, he should have squared it to Mahrez and used his left foot when the keeper came out but that is nothing new. He will still probably end up as out top scorer come the end of the season.

That said he should be on the bench at the weekend!

Love Raz but Pep needs to send him a message by leaving him out at Anfield.

He did score yesterday but his first touch has been all over the place recently and it just slows us down. I knew when he went through one v one last night that it would not go in. Even missed other glorious chances, should have had a hat trick at least. Also multiple times we broke on the counter and instead of using his pace to make a run, he just stood there. I mean it hasn’t been good enough.

I believe he will rediscover his best form eventually and the best remedy is competition and time on the bench.

I think he should start at Anfield, never thought I'd hear myself saying this as he has been woeful there over recent years, but no crowd getting to him, which I think has been part of the problem, and to run at that weak defence they currently have,is a real good chance for him to put that ghost to bed,bag a couple or more, and walk off that pitch smiling.

It would boil a bit more piss as well, which would be nice

God he was shit, and he still got a goal.

Isn't that a good thing? He won't stay shit forever but he'll always be a goal threat. Sums him up really.

Sticking him out wide left or right doesn't seem to work. Nearly every pass he took went straight back to the defender. He played most of the first half facing our goal. He looks better when he comes central then poaches as he did with his goal.

That's his biggest issue, while he can do a job.....he doesn't excel in either position.

Improving but rugged is the word, he’s over thinking it again... he’s at his best when instinctive, a bit like andy Cole, time to think and he talks himself out of the right decision...

still wouldn’t be without him though, he runs defences to the point of collapse, it’s when we are at our most dangerous...

I’d use the analogy of a boxer, we all love a knockout, the thrill and excitement of no comeback, Raz is more the conditioned fighter who isn’t a big hitter, invariably winning on points, less exciting but the W is all that matters!

I agree with that, him on the right and Foden left.

I thought he was decent last night, more willing to run with the ball and had a bit more belief. Still has an inconsistent touch and some poor finishing / decision making. That said his poor touch helped him squirm away from the defender in the lead up to the first goal.

Don’t think him and Jesus are far away from good form.
