If I’m not at the game I have no problem watching city at my local as the banter between blues and reds is usually pretty tongue in cheek but the one thing I’ll say is that united fans react a lot differently to the same banter when they’re watching their own team.

Ill never watch the derby at the pub. Have been involved in far too many altercations and have been targeted several times in the past when I’m alone with my wife.

Saw an interview with a young Brit who has qualified for the Aussie Open. Francesca Jones, I think she was called. She only has 4 toes on 1 foot and 3 on the other. Also, only has 4 digits on each hand. Now I should be full of admiration but she had to spoiil it by coming out with how she is a life long rag & OGS is the bestest manager in world football. Hope she gets stuffed 1st round.

Last Derby game I watched in the boozer was 2012. Mainly Rags, plus me and my mate who was a Stoke fan. Rag's were being typical classless wankers, with one particular c*nt behind me shouting down my ear most of the game.... Right up to the point Merlin swept that corner in and Vinny leapt like a salmon.

I just calmly turned round, put my finger on my lip and gently shushed him. He was livid, and soon f*cked off, mumbling to himself.
 
To those posters that say they hate liarpool more than the scum I say this:
Watch the Scholes tackle on Zabba posted earlier. I am old enough to remember the tackle by Best on George Heslop that ended his career, the tackle on King Colin that did the same and of course the shit house Keane on Haaland. Yes Liarpool wrecked a bus, hacked a computer and generally acted like a turd in the bog you can't flush BUT they will never be as dirty, as horrible or as nasty as the scum. They ended 3 City players careers, they tried to do it to a 4th..... Never forget

Best broke the leg of Glyn Pardoe (one of Tommy Doyle's Grandads). Tbf it was over 50 years ago so I am willing to overlook your mistake on this occasion.
 
I detest the rags, always have and always will. That is never ever going to change. The dippers have only come into my particular line of fire in recent years, since KlopPulis turned up. At the moment the dippers are enjoying something of a resurgence: basically, a brief reminder of their heyday in the 70’s. The days when girls would shriek at pictures of David Soul and boys wanted to have sideburns like Noddy Holder: flared trousers and Chopper bikes, Peter Osgood’s diving header for Chelsea against Leeds in the FA Cup final replay at the swamp (I think?).

The dippers have been a minor irritant for all my life, but they are transient, here today, gone tomorrow, but the rags will always be the club that I hate and loathe with every ounce of my being...forever.

I grew up during the era of total Liverpool dominance in the 70s and 80s, when United were mostly irrelevant, and then mercifully left the country right when United took over. So, having missed living in Manchester and suffering at the hands of gobshite United fans for 20 years, I'll always hate Liverpool more.
