My mother in law got a phone call at 2pm this afternoon to go get a jab at 3pm

When she got there loads were lining up called last minute

There are loads being thrown away every day & weekend
Where’s that? I’ve heard similar but not sure if apocryphal or not.

It sounds like a lot of effort is going into minimising waste. It’s difficult if some people aren’t turning up for their appointments to be vaccinated.

Getting in before people panic if the numbers drop in the next couple of days

is this being aggressive to non happy clappers day ?

we are all in the same fucking boat people
Karen we are mates and I am not falling out at all but you have been consistently overly negative in my opinion. You won’t agree but please don’t call people disagreeing happy clappers.

Didn’t Worsley get you the ticket and persuade you to go to Wembley where you caught it,, sorry, if wrong, sorry too karen if being a bit too lighthearted about a serious illness I know you still suffer effects from.
He didnt have to persuade me , i pestered him

Sense of humour is good for me , you have to maintain it even in the shit times

Sorry to jump on this mate but that’s crap, and you know it. Simple maths says that if say 80% of the population and vaccinated and it’s got 90% efficacy, and 100% on not serious illness, then there is fucking zero chance we have a surge higher than the current one. Not a prayer. It’s impossible.

Yet the experts who model it say otherwise.

Now, if I had an opinion different to people who'd studied something for their entire lives, rather than tell them they're wrong without even reading their report, what is do is this.

1. Assume I was wrong rather than them
2. Read their work
3. Try and work out what my mistake was.

Could be worth a try?

Sorry buts that just not true of the centres I've worked at, very little goes to waste.

The reason they have reserve lists is to ensure the utilise the staff and volunteers time to its maximum.
