Joke aside. We're told that Pep should simply coach 'cheap' defenders to be better. Surely the bus driver is good enough to do the same?

I think it's time for another record breaking fee for a shit defender....it may come as a surprise to them but that's what they do... and a goalkeeper while you are at it....bet Chelsea can sell them Kepa

It seems to be the way with them... the (few) games where they actually play quite well and dominate possession they don't seem to win.

It's the games where they get played off the park and deserve to lose that they somehow manage to scrape a narrow, undeserved and usually ''contentious'' win.

Always been overrated. Called it years ago on here. The media built him up to be some sort of superhuman that never let goals in. Hart was as good as him and I used to get laughed at for suggesting it.

He was a very good keeper until about 3 seasons ago when for some reason he tries to save every attempt at goal with his feet.

He was a very good shot stopper, like plenty of other keepers. He's never been commanding in the box though or had the distribution. And while he's a good shot stopper, we would regularly have to sit through highlights and replays of his "world class" saves that were at a convenient height for him to save (which is a credit to his positioning, at least). But now he's lost the shot stopping too. At his best, he was getting compared to Neuer, which was just laughable.

They had that very good goal keeper coach under piss can who allegedly took De Gea under his wing and his game came on leaps and bounds as a result. When he left, De Gea’s form fell off a cliff. His career trajectory is basically the same as Joe Hart’s but we got rid a lot quicker whilst they gave doughnut boy a gigantic contract. Ed Woodward special.
 
So you have a man in charge of Var who is a supposed Bolton fan with a family full of rags getting one of if not the best player of a team whose teams next game is against the rags!

These batches of referees are fucking useless they all need pensioning of Riley too and get an independent company with ex players and properly trained let them get sponsors on there shirts but make them accountable make the speak to the media!

Is he banned though? Is it not by competition these days rather than next games?
