Compared Foden to Jack Wilshere when he burst onto the scene on 5 Live - ‘that’s how good he can be!’

Lovely and calm here thanks chickCalm down petal. Some of us prefer a bit more than laughing and joking around. Early days for him but he wont be around if thats all he’s got.
Always gets me that you're angry or upset when you disagree with somebody but they aren't upset by disagreeing with you?Lovely and calm here thanks chick
A fat waste of skin?Compared Foden to Jack Wilshere when he burst onto the scene on 5 Live - ‘that’s how good he can be!’

I'll be alone in this, but I was a bit embarrassed by Micah (not the singing bit, but what was supposed to be analysis). He was buzzing, fine, but he really didn't give any kind of analysis. I can do what he did, in fact I did do it in front of my telly. But I'm not asking anyone to listen to me, and I don't get paid for it.
What from - the gravitas?Micah is a breath of fresh air on the telly. A bit of lighthearted relief
A few turtle neck wankers are always going to be put out by a confident, carefree young man
I think he needs to defend city when required but not be so much a cheerleaderThis won't be popular but the only pundits I think are worth listening to are Souness and Neville. Souness has been a player, manager and although he is grumpy you know that he is telling you what he thinks from experience and I don't find him biased, although others may do.
When I heard Neville was going to be a pundit, my blood boiled. We've enough reds on the TV and don't need any more but he is superb. He laughs at himself and analyses the games in a neutral way. He's a guy who's also got good insight and I never thought I would say that about him.
I like Micah, he's a blue, but I'd prefer it if sometimes he wasn't the clown and just told us what it's really like. The lad made his debut very early, had a lot on his shoulders at his age, played for England early etc. He's got enough experience to be able to talk about it rather than trying to be the clown. Winding Keane up is fun, but after a while it distracts from what he should be doing - talking about the game and using his experiences to explain it to us.
DeJong is very good on BeinPeter Drury is best for me.
In regards to Micah, just being a City representative is good enough for me, at least he, De Jong and Lescott stop the one side scum and candlepool drivel that is usually spouted. It is also good to see the amount of gloating that is currently happening, with the run the we are on now.
I think the clowning and joking is his shield against being "the new boy".I think he needs to defend city when required but not be so much a cheerleader
But to have a young, confident black former city player is what’s needed. A different upbringing and experience of how to make it in the game and also gives us a presence on tv
With all the shit going on over social media I think Micah is best when he is talking about his experience of the game.
I think Keane and souness actually like him because he is honnest and they don’t take to fakers (Owen, mcmanaman, Jenas)
Don’t be taken in by Neville’s mask. He is still a snide **** who despises us and our fans. He deserved every drop of beer that was flung over him at BrightonThis won't be popular but the only pundits I think are worth listening to are Souness and Neville.
