Wouldn't be so sure about that, Sevilla very much on the up, only takes a good season from one more side and they could be in serious trouble, they're desperately reliant on CL money to stay afloat. Mind UEFA will probably just keep wild carding them from 2024 onwards.
 
Barça vs PSG today. Injured moNey, Di Maria and Bernat. But they have Paredes, Verratti and kick-and-run Mbappe who can make LongLegs and Asstiti red-carded quickly. And they don’t have futsal goalkeeper.
Anybody can score against this backline. I know Lio will have a masterclass but I don’t know about the rest of the team...
If Barca loses by a huge margin and doesn’t advance into the next round, I expect Messi to quit. Remember that Barca is currently -8 points to Atleti in La Liga and heads into the 2nd leg of Copa del rey semifinals losing 2-0 (comeback required to go into the final).
I am already shaking.

I expect Messi to leave regardless even if Barca beat PSG. Barca are never winning the CL anyway.

It’s probably bullsh*t as it’s in the Daily United, but according to that rag, Nyamar has been phoning Messi trying to convince him to join PSG. How the Daily United would know that is anyones guess. Saying that, PSG are doing as much as they can privately and publicly to convince Messi to join PSG. PSG players have been lining up one by one in public asking Messi to join PSG. You can just imagine what PSG have been doing behind the scenes to try and get Messi to sign for PSG. I hope we’ve been doing the same, but in our usual quiet and headline free way.

Barca throwing a hissy over it too but PSG are well within their rights, he's less than 6 months on his contract.

To be fair, you have not actually stated anything of note in your post other than Messi will have a masterclass tonight, and PSG are rubbish. Crystal balls to one side, give some insight on why you feel he will be great for City, then maybe people can converse. Personally am torn between wanting to see him in Blue but, equally concerns about his age, squad disruption etc. Stats suggest he is more of a provider than a scorer now. How do you feel he would fit in at City ? Regards the shaking, delirium tremens, maybe Parkinsons ? ;-)

Just watching him now and I’d be worried about the pressing game we currently have, everyone in our team are working their bollocks off to get back and defend and press, Messi is not doing that, will Pep demand that if he joins, would he have the legs or would the other 10 be expected to do it and not him. Would I like to see him at City, yes, but not at the expense of what we seem to be building.
