At his core, Delaney is no different to that **** who does the United fan channel.

He’s nothing more than a fanzine writer in an age when fanzines are largely obsolete.

His team are doing shit, and because his job isn’t to be objective, he’s attacking our achievements in the only way he knows how.

City fans used to do it to United all the time (plastic club - no-one actually from Manchester gives a fuck about your success) - we did it last season to Liverpool (all the asterisk stuff), and we’ll do it in the future when other teams win.

It’s basic football tribalism, and Delaney is just a particularly unsophisticated manifestation of that principle.

You wouldn’t expect objectivity from the editors of Red Issue on our success - so don’t expect it from Delaney.

I’ve never really understood why people care so much about what rival fans think about our Club anyway. That level of neediness is what makes the Scousers so unbearable - they’re convinced everyone loves their shitstain of a club as much as they do, and get outraged when they realise most football fans think they’re scum.

Don’t give him the clicks or the attention he craves - his opinion doesn’t matter any more than any other United or Liverpool fan.

I’ve emailed the paper with a “racist” complaint against Delaney. Received an acknowledgment so see what happens

Cancelo moves inside into midfield when we have the ball and has licence to move forward and retreats into defence when we don't have it. He is a skilful, talented and intelligent footballer who should actually add to his goals tally. I don't get what's so hard to understand about what he does ? Pep should be given a lot of credit for utilising Cancelo and Zinchenko in the way he does. Football evolution and all we get is this from Liew.
When we beat Arsenal 3-0 on that freezing cold night (was it 2018 - Sane scoring after that brilliant passage of passing from the edge of our box?) that first half was as devastating a half of attacking football as I've seen us play. Much more so than yesterday.

It's unfair on the fans being baited into questions about ownership. We did not nominate CFG to come take over us, they did and we are grateful for what they've done with the club and the city, no one's going around boasting wow look we're state backed, our owners may be criminals you know!

The idiocy is from Delaney and his pals is pathetic. Staying silent when we're 12th just to start posting recycled articles when we're top again. I've slowly started to block it all out, but it still gets to me sometimes. It is extremely xenophobic, you cannot put it any other way, but because it's masked under criticism of a sporting entity, the fans just blindly follow suit in hatred and ignorance.
 
The absolute irony of Liverpool writers slating arab ownership while the club's fanbase wants FSG gone and be taken over by Arabs so that they can - *laughs again* - back Klopp!

Can you share the email address you sent it to mate? I’ll send something too, normally just ignore stuff like this but Delaney is a prick and needs bringing down a peg or two.

it’s either that or turning up to the next in person presser at the CFA and giving the pleb a slap.

Brilliant Liverpool stretched their lead to 22 points ahead of the floundering ex-champions Citeh. They are a credit to the premier league, so clinical, so dynamic, a wonderful Vorsprung Durch inspired winning machine that has blown the competition away.

The premier league has become so so boring when one state-funded plaything is 10 points ahead of the rest. It's all about competition and the ebb and flow of a pulsating title race. We should really just forget Citeh and concentrate on the proper clubs below them battling it out for the champions league spots. Decent honest traditional clubs who have never flouted FFP and fund their modest squads with money earned not given.
 
Pretty sure Delaney got himself far too involved personally with City fans before on Twitter and must have got a nudge from bosses as he deleted a load of stuff and went quiet for a bit.

I agree - this sort of racism should be treated in the same way as others
