Garth Crooks team of the week.

Pickford...

'It is with some hesitation that I find myself selecting Jordan Pickford for my team of the week.It was Pickford who put Virgil van Dijk out of the previous Merseyside derby with an awful challenge that went unpunished'.

Ruben Dias...

'This surely can't go on. There was no attempt by Arsenal to mix it and play a game that would make nice ball-players feel uncomfortable, put them under pressure or even harass them. The Portugal international is about to win the Premier League title without so much as a scratch and that can't be right. Is somebody going to make it uncomfortable for City? What is the English game coming to?'

There is just too many things wrong with these comments. He's a fucking joke. What is with the affiliation to Liverpool and becoming anti City, in recent years?

Can’t believe Delaney the bedwetter is still crying about it
Would he ever consider that we are top because we are good at football?
He is just playing to united and Liverpool fans
When they are playing well he writes about that when they are insignificant he is criticising us
Bet he still sleeps with the light on

There's no way that fat **** is 29!
I’m 28 and he looks old enough to be my dad
Nothing to do with City but you have to laugh at how Sky Sports have framed the results of the poll on whether Everton were right to get the penalty on Friday.
Not that the majority think he was right but....

hope we see the following poll soon;

Are mane and salah diving twats?
A. Yes
B. They are diving twats

What’s this Arsenal ‘consecutive league wins’ record that he’s wittering on about?

This 1-0 win over Arsenal was Manchester City’s 13th successive league win, putting them one off the old Premier League record set by Arsene Wenger’s 2003-04 ‘Invincibles’, and it’s hard to see where it’s going to stop.

I believe he's referring to Arsenal's 14 successive wins in at the end of 2001/02 and beginning of 02/03. For everyone other than Miguel, that's the 2 seasons before the invincibles.

But what's odd is that these are the longest winning runs in PL history....

Manchester City - 18 Games (August 2017 - December 2017)

Liverpool - 18 Games (October 2019 - February 2020)

Liverpool - 17 Games (March 2019 - October 2019)

Manchester City - 15 Games (February 2019 - August 2019)

Don't want to go all Daily Mail on humble Blue Mooners ..........
