Reading the BBC football story regarding letting up to 10,000 fans in and i decided to read the comments (i know, i know)
How and when did we become the but of a joke about “no fans”, i’m trying to think when this started? Maine road 34,000 sell outs, Etihad 47,000 sell outs, now over 54,000 but the first comment regarding any empty stadium/no fans is always ours?
You name it, Chelsea, Newcastle, Sheff Wednesday fans all commenting about city struggling to get 10,000. I know its a joke and banter and it doesn’t bother me, i’m scratching my head thinking “why always us” when & why did this start? I really cant figure this out!
Because that is all they have on City such is our dominance. And the best bit is that they would give anything to swap places with us.

Another hater who has been dismantled and sold for parts on Twitter by Rabin
Doesn't take much tbf, a 3 year old could pick holes in his shite. Going on about asterisks this week and only last week he was singing rangers praises, lack of fans didn't come into it then.

Being offensive is an offence,' reads Merseyside Police's slogan against hate crime.

Must have been a very inoffensive bricking the Manchester City bus received on its way to Anfield that time, then, because no one was ever arrested.

Not sure its been posted but nice one Martin Samuel.

Well was more worried about the copy and paste working than noticing the post just before;-(

There's a simple reason why we have a more expensive squad and better players than most other teams. We've now played 10 consecutive CL campaigns and will have earned something like £550m from doing that after this season. No other PL team has managed that, not United, Chelsea or Liverpool (who've only been in 4 CL campaigns in the same time).

That's where the money comes from. Yes - we've earned it.
Top post and and one I have never connected, doubt many pundits will be getting that information out there soon.
Once again top post.

Exactly, so why isn’t the Emirates, St James, Villa Park, Everton on the list of empty stadiums with no fans? It doesn’t make sense
Probably because it's one of the very few sticks left to hit us with. The press pigs afford us as fans about as much slack as refs and VAR afford our players. It's tough at the top I suppose.

They couldn’t risk offending any scrotes by not offering them a peg up onto the roof of their Black Maria

What Delaney and his ilk completely overlook is, irrespective of what City paid for them, almost all players City have bought increase their value as a result of improving their performances after they come here, especially in the Pep era. City don't buy finished articles, players at the top of their game or galacticos. We buy good players and/or players with potential and in many cases turn them into great players.

Or does the bitter little gobshite think that KDB is worth only £55m today? Gundogan only £21m, Ederson only £35m, Sterling only £44m, Jesus only £27m, Bernardo only £43m or Zinchenko only £1.7m? Dias's market value is surely already more than the £61m City paid for him last summer. (Compare to Maguire who was never worth £80m even when the rags bought him).
This is always my argument. We don’t buy the latest hyped up player. Arguably we buy unheard of, in household name terms, players for fees that lots of clubs could afford. There have been plenty of occasions when we have said we cannot afford such a player and walked to our next target.

Just show them this

Well there you have it announcing that fans will be able to go back to grounds in May guess which ground they happen to be at.

And on a Monday night in the family stand during term time. A sly dipper called Lynch wrote that article
The Telegraph had a general article which had an entire block of the Colin Bell Stand plus parts of adjoining blocks. The only fans in this block were father and his little girl on the second row and an elderly couple near the back drinking something from a thermos.
Clearly contrived to give a false impression, it must have taken soon after the gates open and a poster identified it was a Youth Cup match played at the main stadium.
What's wrong with these people?

They are cunts Mike. The media used to quite like us, when we were shit, and I can’t work out whether the hatred is because we are a threat to united and liverpool (but Chelsea never got this shit) or deep rooted anti Arab racism.

The Merseyside Police were piss poor at the time of the attack on the coach as well as the non existent action afterwards.
Any commander worth his salt would have ordered the motor cycle escort dictating the speed of the coach to speed up to get the coach through more quickly. Instead they just continued to plod along(excuse pun) as an easy target as were the foot escort.
It would have been entirely different if some poor copper had copped (oops) a half brick in the head and sustained serious injuries.
