Erling Haaland

Chelsea I see have taken lead in giving media the news that they are in and they will do anything to sign him

So we are desperate to replace Aguero who is 32 agreed .Bayern have Lewandowski who is 33 in August .Haaland plays in Germany he may like it there .Im sure I read somewhere about a Madrid re financing deal .Yes we are in a good position re Haaland and I think we should go all out this Summer .But god knows where he wants to play and who with . I assume if we have made contact as someone suggested he has indicated his willingness to come .But it irks me when people say get x y or z the player certainly in the case of those two holds the power. Dortmund may well want rid this year but conversely he has a contract and can stay in a similar way to how Garcia did with us and Messi
However I’m sure we both agree a top striker is the missing piece for us
I agree with everything you have posted but the difference between Aguero and Lewandowski is the games played not age, on where Haaland wants to go, he almost certainly wants to go to Real, Barca or Bayern., player of the year is the biggest incentive once you reach a certain level, but he went to Dortmund as a stepping stone and has surpassed them early, and we can do the same by giving him a 5 year deal with a clause that allows any club to buy him for the same price after 3 years, thus allowing the above 3 to take him when and if they recover, and the same can be said for Mbappe who is in a similar position.
It should be noted that we did not spend £? millions on a publicity stunt proving that we could get Messi when all around could not afford him.

Hope I am wrong but I think the lure of London and Chelsea will see him go there. They are a club who spend big in terms of fees and wages.

You're on the wind up surely? Why would any Blue consider us a stepping stone to Real, Barca or Bayern?

Atleti were shit when Aguero was there.

They were top 4 contenders. Anyway, the main point is that Lukaku isn't a donkey, he's a brilliant striker and is playing better than he ever has.

You're probably judging purely from his time in a park the bus Mourinho team. Yet despite him not flourishing there they still got 74mil for him. Double what Inter are usually willing to pay for players, would be like us spending 130mil on someone.

If we can't get Haaland, I'd be more than happy to see Lukaku in our team.

I do not think any Blue does, but how many CL have we won, and more important to the players, after a decade of being the best team in the best league in the world, how many Ballon D`Or`s have we won, and 3 years is a long time a lot can change in that time,

There absolutely aren't.

Liverpool are not in the equation full stop.

They couldn't even give Klopp money in January for a central defender.

They have made no big sales and spending £45m on Jota only added to their striker quota.
They had to ship Minamino out to Southampton on loan in January just to be able to afford the low salaries of Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies. That doesn’t sound like a club that are going to be spending £100m-plus on anybody

How does one go about getting him to say yes is the real conundrum then. Reckon it’ll be money or some other factor?

His dad has an awful lot of say, defacto agent.

He can get top money anywhere, but they do have a vision and road map as to what will suit him best.

As I said the other day, it may well be a perfect storm opportunity, simply because I don't see Barca or Madrid having the current lure or resources to make it happen.

I have felt for a while that he wants to come 'home' to England, and that the two main clubs we must concern ourselves with are United and Chelsea.

We have our own blue-tinted lense, but those clubs will also have their appeal and pitches.

However, the fact we can pitch the Aguero replacement/successor, Pep and a team full of winners, coupled with the old man's former association, people would have to be ignorant to dismiss we have a wonderful chance of persuading him.

And that's before paying him top wages.

Now imagine if that equation could include playing with Messi for a couple of years?

The boy and Alfie have been very smart with their decisions up to this point, nothing I hear on the grapevine suggests they suffer fools.

I'm pretty sure also Barca are not playing Coutinho so they avoid the final tranche of money owed to them?

Nobody is buying Coutinho in the present market.

The thing about Chelsea is that I see no stability with them, how can they guarantee he’ll be playing a certain way or playing under a decent manager? They swap them every couple of years and a nee manager may play differently. Obviously they have the “London Factor” but idk how much that would persuade him
