Whatever XI Pep picks they are a better team than West Ham. Our manager is also better than Moyes as well. Put them together and I can't see any other result other than another win.

I'm sure they will scrap and battle but they will get tired chasing the ball about and then we will score at least 1. I don't see them scoring against us.

I'll go for a 2-0 against some busparkers.

Valencia will put on another superhuman performance before going missing or injured after our match. Also a team with Rice in we should be beating.

Not forgetting that we're the only PL game on Tuesday next week (also a BT pick).

Yep something needs to be done for all clubs in Europe I know Klopp said something about it! Bt pay a lot of money but does that gives them the right to in effect manipulate fixtures that benefits other competing teams.

To be fair Wolves have Newcastle away late Sat night then us away Tuesday so we have no complaints on that. I don't have time for other managers complaining when they get early saturday kick offs after a European midweek so I won't be complaing when we do either.

Think they will be up for it and not much parking the bus this time. They will still use the counter where possible. An interesting match up on Saturday morning. We should have enough to win, but can see a goal slip threw. 3-1
I doubt very much that any team will try and attack us for the rest of the season. The only way to beat our system is either to hit long and hope or try and play through us which is near impossible. There only chance really is set pieces but we seem very solid on them as well.

I have seen them twice against the rags and dippers and both times they were full of mistakes and easily turned over. Even against Spurs last week they were outplayed and very fortunate to get the win. Pep is managing the season really well and I expect at least 5 or 6 changes and whoever it is will be better than West Ham

When did the team get back from Hungary? The match itself wouldn't have left them too weary so the only problem for Saturday will be if they're tired from the travel. (And their stay in a first-class hotel of course.)

I think they'll train there today and fly back later on.

Thank for the info. Impressed by the logistics of this, how they get all the support staff and equipment, kit men, physios, masseurs (masseuses?), probably even cooks out there & back, especially under Covid rules. A few years ago they used to film the team's travel arrangements and put it on the OS but Pep probably doesn't want too many eyes on that.

West Ham is a tough game but we should win this, we only need to score one goal, that's all it takes really and we are more than capable to do that.

I don't see them scoring especially with Stones expected to be back with Dias.

I expect the game and lineup to shape up very close to the Arsenal game.

The big question is how is Pep going to solve the KDB\Bernardo dilemma as right now they seem to cancel each other

Ederson
Cancello Dias Stones Zinc
Rodri KDB Gudogan
Mahrez Jesus Sterling

They deffo would have trained this morning in Hungary, the team landed back in Manchester at 4pm this afternoon,so home, chill, training tomorrow afternoon, and bounce these men on Saturday lunchtime.

Yeah they probably would be quicker getting home from Budapest than Newcastle. Your right we can't complain about the timing.
