That's the most excited and happy I've seen Pep for absolutely ages.

I think he feels something very special is coming with those players.

I mean, to be in such a good mood that you reply to those Jamie Jackson questions for 5+ minutes, and the whole "I wish I was a Buddha like Moyes/Ancelotti" tangent he went on, and the "Come on you hammers" bit.

He's giddy. Either the carbon monoxide alarm at the CFA is broken or he's bouncing off the walls because everyone is fit, everyone is playing well and he can't wait for the next few months.

For sure we're not an elite side, and you'd be hard pushed to find a West Ham fan who truly believes that. What we aren't is a lower table/relegation fodder/struggling again side. Moyes has reinvented us, and himself, and credit where it's due for that.

We have no idea if this is a one off freak season, or the start of something beautiful (credit: porcupine tree) but you won't be hard pushed to find a hammers fan that's happy for a change!

In the context of elite we’re exactly the same in the mainstream view but in reality City have become that team. I don’t think many Blues care as seeing what we have seen/see over the course of the last 10 season far exceeds our previous 30 to 40 years. We are more than happy with our fill And would never be arrogant.

Hopefully someone like yourselves will continue to invest and force the competition with the likes of us and the red tops.

Whatever you can do to keep the scum out of the money, we’re happy, but it is an almighty test to beat the might of those that invest.
