Riyad Mahrez, Aymeric Laporte, Joao Cancelo, Rodri, Benjamin Mendy and John Stones have all also arrived for fees in excess of £50m."

FFS - Pep actually told the thick media that it's NOT just our club who spend, and that it costs to get in quality.

Oh but wait it doesn't fit the narrative - we're an oil rich club, with money grabbing mercenaries and a manager who can't win the league with a bunch of part timers.

It's fantastic to listen to him speak with so much passion, knowledge and intelligence. This country and especially the media don't deserve him. We do, we suffered decades of mediocrity for this period. If only they engaged with him more they could gain so much more, instead they want to snipe and try to belittle his achievements and genius, while blowing smoke up the arse of lesser managers and mortals. More fool them.
