Nathen ake 41mil
Ruben diaz 61mil
Cancelo 60mil
Kyle Walker 45mil
Danilo 26mil > sold 34 mil
Mendy 52mil
Laporte 57mil
Stones 47mil
Net of 357mill (I think)
danilo we made a tidy profit so no issue there, like say only mendy who has not lived up to the hype I think people forget that’s a completely new defence, players who play for Manchester City are not allowed to retire don’t you know....

I’ve just got them figures off transfer site seems about right to me. Think I have all his major defensive signings in there.
So his figures are nearly 150million out if my calculations are correct
Not forgetting the income from the sales/loans of Angelino, Maffeo and Otamedi, probably in the region of £40m plus recouped.

To be fair, we're getting a lot of positive media as well. If I was an opposition fan I'd want to see a lot about our spending as well as a lot about our football and records.

We hear fuck all about anybody else's spending though. I want to hear about how 14 individual Liverpool players each cost more than Sheffield United's entire squad later and the combined £650m spent on the rags and Chelsea bench players but alas, I'll be deprived.

I get that. It'll never happen. Maybe if the Rags go on a 20 match unbeaten run will hear about individual transfer fees...... I wouldn't be holding my breath though.

A message for the media and sycophantic, clueless pundits...

Manchester City have a big squad??, no they fuckin don’t, they have 25 players like every other team in the PL .. City have a talented squad built up over many seasons to ensure they are competitive in all competitions.. They bought players any of the top 6 could have bought and most of em are worth 3 times what City paid for em ....

So do fuck right off with all this nonsense and kiss my City arse on your way out....!

I constantly hear that City have a big squad.

Now most of our players are about 5"7" ?

Now every team has 25 players ?

City have the same as any other club, but it could be said that City have a more experience and skillful squad of players .

They is nothing stopping any club from having the same type of squad that City have. So why do the press go on about ? Surely liverpool the 5th richest club in the world should have a bigger squad than City as they have more money.

Ops I was writing this at the same time as Blue Til Death !!

Shit, if most of our players are now 5’7, they’ll be quoting £ per inch transfer fees to further exaggerate.
Let’s just win the lot and tell them to fuck off

If our players get any small City wont have to pay VAT on it ; ) lol

HEADLINE City sign small players to avoid paying VAT !

Bang on about the ear piece, you can almost see the point where his Face changes as he is told to agree and move on.
This should be remembered for all the other formats and Nedum said as much about having a guy in your ear saying you have 30 seconds wrap it up and that is after some dinosaur has waffled for 5mins
I posted earlier about keys eyes flicking to the right and that he was looking for confirmation he was on message with the narrative.

Thinking about what Richard Keys says. Presumably if Pep had not won the title or any domestic cup with City, just one champions league win in the 5 seasons since he arrived, that would constitute having done a better job than 2 (hopefully soon 3) league titles, the FA cup and 3 Carabo cups. I know which I’d rather have and frankly Keys is talking utter rubbish. They have to big up the champions league to kiss Liverpool’s arse as it’s all they won for 30 odd years

I think if City had have the same amount of luck liverpool have had in the champions league City would be perhaps two times winners by now.

What was liverpool something like W5 L4 D1 or something like that, a worst record than City but dippers won !

VAR has screwed City so many times in the champions league, it's not bad luck it's just bent.

I have to say that is the ideal size :)

I'd be banning papers. You dont have to make a big deal of it, and you dont have to argue their points.

Just revoke credentials when people go over the top.

Banning individuals wont work, they'll just send someone else. But if you boot the entire paper sooner or later questions are going to be asked of the individuals that caused it.

No need to ban anyone in these times of social distancing and zoom press conferences.

If journalists (I use that term in the loosest possible sense for these charlatans) are allowed at the Etihad, then numbers will be restricted. So these are reserved for the ones that deserve it i. e. those who provide fair and balanced articles without the need to kowtow to the club.

As for zoom - connections can be lost. We all know how bad the reception was at the Etihad on match days!

The issue with keys bollocks is that his qatar paymasters are behind PSG, who by his assertions have similar needs of success to win CL. Just never it

The media are missing the point about our transfers.
We have a “recent” history of signing players who stay at the club for many years. They are not just sold on if they don’t deliver at first. Most will eventually come good and realise a profit (Mendy is the only one who may not but that’s probably because of his injury record)
Pep has to take credit for keeping the players engaged and happy.
The point is we have a stable group of high quality players who are well drilled into Pep’s way of playing and are now able to interchange without the team’s performance suffering.
We are reaping the benefits of stability within the squad and that is how you build a legacy.

I wish the club would defend itself more against some of the blatant lies and misinformation that’s frequently spouted in the media. If the order from Khaldoon is do nothing though then our hands are tied. I assume we’re playing the long game.

However, from my point of view I wish we would employ a couple of slimy, aggressive American lawyer types, the sort who get celebrities off the hook on a ‘technicality’ even when blatantly guilty, to take the worst of these media liars apart. I’m sure if some of the rag loving media cunts were faced with fabricated but compelling ‘evidence’ of something like bribery or a dubious sexual encounter then their lying bullshit about human rights, Pep leaving, oil money, etc would stop quite quickly.
Lawyers like that would be eaten alive in the English courts. US Attorneys, by comparison, are shit advocates.
