Since Ole has taken over United they have had 29 penalties in the league alone. Let that sink. 29 fucking penalties for a team that doesn't have players like Messi, Neymar, Mbappe, Aguero, Lewandowski, Haaland...

Did Barca of Messi, Suarez and Neymar get 29 penalties in 80 odd league games? Not a chance. Did the Centurions get a comparable amount of penalties? Nope. None of the greatest attacking teams over the last decade has been awarded as many penalties as this United team and they have the nerve to complain about referees not giving them more penalties?!? Embarassing.

I'm just wondering how those 29 penalties in 2 seasons equate to actual points and where would they have ended up without them. One for the statisticians amongst us....

Figured it out a while back when bored 6th last season ahead of wolves on GD (Leicester would have gotten 4th by one point from spurs, rags took points off both with penalties). They'd be 5th this season behind Chelsea on GD.

I love the fact united players are losing their shit over this.
The more they feel hard done by the more they ignore what the issue is.
The issue is that we control games whereas they don’t. We try to manage the match whereas they hope to snatch and grab by sitting deep and hitting on the break
Unfortunately this approach makes you look good against teams that you should beat so you beat a team 9-0 that you should beat 4-0 anyway
You then play a decent team and they suss your PE teacher manager before they even put their kit on.
