Could this be the match where everything comes together? We’ve probably all thought at some time ‘one of these matches it’s all going to come together and the opposition will get the full force of Pep’s strategies and everyone will be at full throttle’........ please let it be Sunday. I can’t stand Derby matches and will be to and fro-ing all 90 minutes but I am so hoping this happens.

It's so hard to predict our line-up it gives the opposition no chance to plan how to counteract it. OGS is as in the dark as we are. Love it.
Except that Foden won’t start and Sterling will. That‘s a fairly safe prediction.

Hope I’m wrong. Phil would surely love the chance to stuff Stretford Rovers.

Dias was at fault against Liverpool but Mahrez was at fault against Wolves. He just let Coady breeze past him on the edge of the box instead of blocking him. If he does his job Coady cannot get anywhere near the ball.
We are in danger of getting ridiculously picky now. Every time anyone even gets near our goal, never mind scores, the media goes mad. Players make mistakes all the time, it costs goals sometimes (scored or conceded), other times it is irrelevant. The important thing is the team’s end result which, for us, is dandy!

I agree with what you have said. But shouldn't we put in Fernandinho as he pocketed Bruno in the Carabao Cup Semi Final. Would this xi be any good?

Ederson
Walker Stones Dias Cancelo
Fernandinho Rodri
Foden Gündogan Bernardo
Jesus
Not a bad team but no Sterling? I can also see Zin coming in for walker. His pace is fantastic but his passing is not great.

I hate Minimum Utd with such a passion. I hate everything about these arrogant living in the past twathead supporters. This time we should hit this tiring burnt out team with so much pace, they won’t be able to breathe. So my team would be...
Ederson, Walker, Stones, Diaz, Cancelo, Rodri, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Foden, Jesus and Sterling. So much pace, playing turbo football will crush the red shite!!

Yea but then you have to leave out Gundo or Bernado,e same point still stand

Yea but then you have to leave out Gundo or Bernado, the same point still stands.
I'd play Kev as false 9 but then you lose the energy of the press that Jesus brings. Berny & Mahrez have been linking up much better on the right

Agree about Berni and Mahrez but I think Jesus would be the better option at false 9 and I’d actually leave Kev out, and bring him on to change things if we happen to need him. Then get him starting again in the games that follow to work on his form. That team will totally starve United of any possession.

So, on “form” you would bench Dias for Laporte? HAHAHA!

Who is this “Gudongan” character? Did we swap him for Tatonka during the January window?

Hahahaha what the fuck are you going on about? Absolutely no way you're being serious here, whilst ill possibly give you the one mistake he's made this season at Anfield (where he was magnificent by the way) you're not having the Wolves goal being his fault no way on this earth.

Cant believe im even bothering to answer this but Dias has been the constant whilst the superbly performing Stones and the getting back to something like his best Laporte have been rotated because as well as being a fucking fantastic centre half Dias is a leader of our back line aswell
Dias is and has been fantastic but the wolves goal was his fault let's not be blinkered dropped to early. All 3 are fantastic players and yes I agree he is our leader but bigger games lie ahead and hes played a lot since he's come in might just need a rest

Oh the double pivot police will be out when seeing this. Absolutely no need for 2 holding mids against there 10 man defence. Also would be absolute criminal to take Bernardo out of a midfield 3 atm

It could well be.

In my opinion they are also teetering on the edge a bit. They might be second in the table still, but Chelsea, West Ham and Everton are hitting really good form and are 4-6 points behind with games in hand.

Fernandes looks knackered the last few games I've seen, the weight of carrying them for about 60 games in 12 months since he arrived is taking its toll. Pogba might be maligned on here, but their results suffer a lot without him and he does come up with big goals and assists when they need a result. The Europa is going to take it's toll too.

A demoralising win for us, not even necessarily on the scoreboard, but the kind of embarrassing performance where we toy with them and ping the ball around for minutes on end might push them over the edge and see them drop out of the top 4.

The rags have been in a false position for months. Hanging in their with narrow wins, late goals, favorable VAR decisions and penalties, many of which were awarded through blatant cheating. Their manager lacks the experience and tactical know how, and rarely coaches from the touch line. It was just a matter of time before their luck ran out and the decline sets in. Hopefully, three of Leicester, Chelsea and Everton and West Ham grab the other top four spots.

Not Leicester mate, I think their chances went with injuries to Justin, Maddison and Barnes. Chelsea runners up, hopefully West Ham and the blue dippers. Liverpool TWENTY TWO points behind us fucking lol
