Without having to trawl back through the thread were there any of those fan tv videos posted here after the Chelsea game, you know the ones with the fat scouser and his son or the twat in the baseball cap who’s always hyper?
 
Popped into Rawk (I know I need a wash now). Same old story, we have unlimited funds, backed by a state, sports washing, cheats etc.
They really do believe this shit, if you try and have a discussion about us being cleared, fairly, by an independent panel and that the fine was for none cooperation, they ban you. Even when you point out that we had already been fined previously, which again we did not agree with and “took it with a pinch of salt” they revert back to oil money and cheating. I know we are all impartial to our own clubs but I would like to think that if someone was telling me something and could back it up with facts then I would actually listen and maybe you know not react by banning the other person. Regards their team. Many have said that they way Klopp plays is not sustainable, in one of their threads it showed that mane, salah and Firminio had played over 40 games a season for Klopp, which is bound to have an effect in the long run. They also have a thread about the age of the squad, think it’s 7 players 30 or over, again long term this is not sustainable. They will need a striker, a right back, a centre mid, and 2 quality defenders to challenge in my opinion - that’s some shopping list. If they miss out on Chumps league it could take them a couple of seasons to be challenging again. So you know spare a thought for the dippers and let’s maybe have a candlelight vigil for them at the end of the season

Not sure, Fulham are closer to them than us, they’re just trying to create a rivalry so that they feel relevant I think.

They won around half of their games last season by a single goal and more than their fair amount of these one goal wins were as a direct result of the referee giving them a leg up when they needed it.
If they had been turning teams over left, right and centre and their late season huge drop-off in form hadn't happened then I can see how they could be quietly confident but I have absolutely no idea how they can proclaim "they're the best team in the league with nobody even close", that level of delusion is just psychotic.
This season was always going to be a strange one and a huge part of being successful this season was always going to be all about who strengthened their areas of concern well in the summer, who could manage their players the best over a compressed season, luck when it came to Covid infections and which manager was best able to cope with the inevitable on pitch setbacks. Klopp's reliance on one way of playing and lack of tactical and player rotation flexibility always meant this was going to be a tough season for them, especially when we could all see the effects of 3 years of running the same 15 players in to the ground was having on his team before last season had even finished.
Looking at the way other teams strengthened over the summer, Chelsea and ourselves in particular, should have given them cause to maybe be a bit more cautious and possibly act with a bit more humility (asking a lot of scousers I know), especially when there was 2/3 of the season to go.
To be honest this is why I think we'll probably win the league this year but I won't be making too many proclamations until we're a bit further down the line. Anything can happen this season and until we've got the international break over and done with and have no Covid after effects will I start looking too far forward. The amazing run we've been on, and our league position obviously, pretty much demonstrates that we're easily the best team in the league this year but it isn't over yet. I definitley hope we don't start making stupid "best team in the world" proclamations when a season is only a month or two in.

it was bent & not only were they getting leg ups but we were getting leg downs & I can’t help think it was all down to our champs league ban. We know how these twats work, politics, threats & bullying & I imagine the meetings with prem league top dogs were saying there will be law suits against them when we are found guilty.

The difference is it was them & their ilk cheating & scheming & maybe the break away league was the final straw, you can see when the refereeing changed. They’ve actually had the audacity to call it out, Henderson we know what they do with the lines, penalties for the Rags, that tells me they knew they were benefiting & were never good enough in a fair fight.
