Rags money problems means they've cut corners on their parade this season.

Ha we hope that too. The media as always over hype everything. When we were on our great run we were the best , most invincible team in the universe, now we've been found out and Ollie is some sort of tactical genius. The truth is of course somewhere inbetween.

Our run was a fantastic achievement and one for which we're rightly proud. Like all runs though we struggled in games and had our share of luck, that's normal. We're all hurting because it ended against our over hyped and not as good as us neighbours. Pep often said countless times in his interviews we had stopped gifting goals which had helped in our run but we lapsed on Sunday and mistakes gifted them two. At the other end poor finishing and bad luck meant we weren't able to come back.

We'll see how the team now responds. Southampton we always struggle against. I have no idea why, they can get absolutely hammered one week and then play us and we suffer. Fulham have found a bit of form and hope and they now can see some hope to avoid relegation so it will be another toughie. We have an eleven point lead and I'm glad as I think we may need it.
Happened to us as well. Newcastle seem to be our new bogey team.

Sunderland were ours for a while, especially away from home. We were the boxer who battered his opponent and were streets ahead on points only to get knocked out in the last minute of round twelve. Usually around Christmas time.

Are they back yet? It's all a bit hard to keep up with......and tedious all the same. Wonder when they're having their open top parade round Salford zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

See they’ve finally appointed a Director of Football. An internal promotion, seems a bit of an underwhelming appointment.

Views??

Womens league football only started when Utd setup a team, so too modern football club management and using a director of football only started today.

As Trevor Sinclair said though "its brought them up to speed with other clubs"

I'd be curious to know in the fullness of time whether this is a truly genuine role, or one where Woodward is really still the one who does everything important with this being a PR move of sorts.

Robert Page will continue to deputise for Wales manager Ryan Giggs as their 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign begins with three games in March.

In November, several newspapers reported Giggs had been arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend, his bail has been extended to 1 May. (Several newspapers) fucking hell this is from a news agency...

AC Milan have just landed in Manchester. Can't imagine that was a pleasant flight or landing in this wind

I'd be curious to know why you are even asking that question. Promoted from within, he was probably the car park attendant before lockdown, answering to Woody and the tight fisted yanks, come on. I believe his nickname at the swamp is patsy

I'll admit, that got a chuckle out of me.
