I’ve sent a complaint to them and asked for an explanation of their moderation policy. I have never seen anything that blatant and i read their comments often. I doubt I will get a reply.
Good luck with that mate. As another poster mentioned, they actually set it up before it was posted. Knew full well what was coming. Baiting City fans. We pay for this shit. Rag central passing themselves as we speak. Fucking fuming that any moderator thought it was acceptable.

Why do the BBC publish shit like this on their main live match day reporting?

"For all Man City's success and wealth (just look at that squad!) their club lacks the most important thing, a soul. People may laugh but the reason other clubs like Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal amongst others come through hardships is because of a real fan base that helps to push the club on coupled with genuine principles that these clubs live by. Money is part of the modern game but aside from this what do City have? A belief in the academy? Loyalty from players? Or fans? I don't think so. Would Pep stick around if they were still at Maine Road without the wealth? They can't even fill their own stadium at the best if times. Yes they'll win the league but they won't win the hearts of football fans.
Alex, Yatton"

Absolute fanboy bollocks getting a platform on a publicly funded broadcaster. No way would that be given the light of day for any other club.
Living in Somerset he could be a jealous rag or jealous dipper or both.
He and his kind should be concerned why the money he pays for his indoor replica shirts goes to already rich Americans and not spent on the team.

Yup. Click bait tabloid shite framed to deliberately rile people. From a public service broadcaster we all have to pay for. Laughable

We’re heading towards a rather frightening 1984-esque future here where our unregulated broadcasters and media are literally telling us what to believe.

This is a stone wall penalty where Salah was ‘hauled’ to the ground according to one of our major news publications.

Meanwhile Foden being taken out completely tonight is glossed over/ignored/claimed to be the right decision.

We are currently in a post-truth world right now and it’s actually deeply concerning.
I said similar in the matchday thread. Sky were trying to convince their audience that what they could actually see with their own eyes was wrong. Tyler and Hinch in cahoots on it. Astonishing stuff really

It's the green eyed monster surfacing again. They are just twisted and jealous of our success.
They are the "new bitters".
I should feel sorry for the sad cunts, but on second thoughts - fuck every single one of the wankers.
They have probably never been near Manchester or Liverpool.

Picking a team thats on the other side to follow just because they've been successful is pretty soulless, the prick will always be on the outside looking in,anyone could do that

This & all the other planted lies make you realise the games the media do & have been doing for years, opened my eyes to the whole world. In subjects I’ve no interest in I can see the same tricks, triggering people’s conscious bias.

I think a lot more people & in this case fans eyes are opened now, I’ve noticed that neutral fans have finally cottoned on.

They decided to publish this tweet just as it was clear that Southampton were not going to salvage a result and turn Sundays result into a prolonged dipper/rag style collapse of form. In that context I actually liked the saltiness of it. Thew same back room BBC rag that was dying to witness a city loss and end the night on an 'it's on' tweet was reduced to publishing this city-bingo rant.

There does seem to be much more not so much positive but less negative stuff about us of late, the MUEN has run a couple of fairly positive articles lately - a lot of it taken from here by the read of it. Still miles and years to go until we start getting the same 'fair' reporting other clubs get though - if ever :(

living in Aus now I’m surrounded by neutrals however the negativity has worked as a few years ago I started seeing loads of kids in City kits, after relentless negativity they disappeared again.

Now the older generation, fans of other clubs have been delighted with our winning streak as they were sick of the pro dipper & blatant cheating. With ECA stitching up more neutral clubs with qualification rule changes & these fans seeing pens given against us & the non pens in favour it becomes more obvious no matter what the commentary team tell you.

Whenever a rag or dipper rings Talkshite they never mention where he is from except in the rare cases that they are local. If a blue rings in
they cannot hide their schoolboy glee If he is from Stockport but show their stupidity if he is from Bredbury or Hazel Grove as they don't have a scooby where they are and too lazy and unprofessional to find out.

Yes but it has “soul”

in fact it has so much soul it’s fondly known as the Detroit of the south west

Those who thought City's match tonight was postponed might have been right as the BBC news fails to mention us extending our lead at the top.
PL also rans Liverpool got a lengthy mention for their dead rubber match against Leipzig.
NW News did manage to give out our score and use the word 'runaway'.

Watched the bbc interview with Pep. He looks really pissed off about the cheating. Brought up the money again. Seething about how we are officiated and reported on by the media.

Maybe we need Oprah to do an interview:)
And he said "he's so proud of what City has achieved over the last five years, as we have done it ourselves "

So not been given a helping hand from PGMOL, VAR or Premier league
