The penalty was a shambles and I thought it’s corrupt, but there was a foul afterwards, I think on Bernardo(or gundo possibly) where two hands went into his back and pushed him right in front of Moss and he acted like it was nothing.

As you say that push happened right in front of his eyes, any other team it's an automatic free kick. That's not ineptitude, that's cheating for Man City's opponents.
