I don't think he is actually from Yatton, or is called Alex, as everything else in his statement is complete bollocks

Fancy a ban coming in ......or at the very least a charge /investigation for Pep
Probably! It is sad to see what the media/refs/var/cas/other managers like Klopp going on about money every second of every day has done to this great man.

They constantly nip and bite until they smell blood. The media remind me of a Komodo dragon. The Komodo will bite & inject venom, victim goes into shock and unable to fight. It often feels this way with the constant attacks on our great club. Nothing worse than being ignored and all achievements tarnished.

wouldnt suprise me if he works at media city working for the bbc on their sports pages

BBC United at Mediacity, Salford, are at it again.

Neil Ashton must have been on the phone to them straight after the match.

I think Pep is taking the piss and using their jealousy against them

Tomorrow’s Mirror
Cash wins again for Man Citeh against the wonderfully brave injury ravaged Saints at the soulless emptyhad. Jon Moss put his failed relationship with Boy George aside to referee this game on an east Manchester turnip field incredibly well. He spotted a clear Foden dive in the box when other less informed viewers screamed PEN. As usual the City keystone cop defense gave away their 37th stonewall pen of the season as Southampton toyed with the out of sorts bitter billionaires. Citeh scored a couple of lucky deflected goals from the 600 million pound want away flop Mahrez to take charge before super Saint Adams scored the goal of the game as he copied his idol Luke Shaw in slamming a brilliant goal past Jaws at the traditional “United end” which of course is the only part of this cold concrete bowl with atmosphere.

BBC Breakfast sports bulletin, Liverpool first, showed both goals and a hatful of misses, then an interview with Klipperty, Must be next I thought, nope Chelsea women next, showed a goal and some missed pens then at last us, showed 1 FFS goal, 1 KDB goal and that was it, no mention of the VARcical decision. Typical BBC

Those who thought City's match tonight was postponed might have been right as the BBC news fails to mention us extending our lead at the top.
PL also rans Liverpool got a lengthy mention for their dead rubber match against Leipzig.
NW News did manage to give out our score and use the word 'runaway'.
I like the way they use the word runaway as though we've done something wrong

Granada north west regional news this morning. Liverpool result shown and a small explanation. NO mention of City’s game that took place in the same region last night. Lolol you can only laugh.

update: twice the same bulletin, still no mention

Runaway leaders has a nice ring to it for me but you're right they do stress the word differently for different effect. Eg the way they use it towards us and err purely at random, let's say last year's winners.

....and the same one hour later. When did Women's CL become of such interest let alone some rubbish about a 'hex on the goal'?.
The running order often has a medic sometimes an attractive lady GP talking good sense, before the sports news and making a complete contrast with the way sport is presented.
The contrast between the country's top nurse, Professor Dame Donna Kinnair and Smug Mike and his half baked sports presentation could not be wider.

I don't think the game is corrupt to any significant extent but I do think there's bias. There's bias in the way that the game is refereed and there is much much more bias in the way that it is reported.
