He is a sad wanker, one of the worst of the rag entitlement crowd, always the first to disparage City's achievements, always the first to spread dis-information and down right lies about our club.

So when the BBC article states....

" he (Howson) feels his channel and his team don't belong in the same category as the reactionary, engagement-baiting football YouTubers often derided online."

That's true.

They are strictly speaking telling the truth about the Stretford Paddock football club site, however the "Stephen Howson" site and the "Stretford Paddock" rag fan site, is full of the usual bile.

So Howson is a good boy on the club site and a shit on the others, so of course no one could possibly accuse him of being in the "same category as the reactionary, engagement-baiting football YouTubers often derided online."

This isn't journalism, it's blinkered propaganda.

The sad thing is there is a story here, just not the one they manufactured.

Nah ... $80m was his worth when they bought him. With that ‘dummy’ at the weekend he’ll be worth at least $120m now ! United can get 1 & 1/2 shit central defenders for that sort of money.

Yep, that's Howson being Howson, the master of loudmouthed over-the-top-reaction, anyone who knows anything about this YouTube clown knows it, including the BBC.

But anyone unfamiliar with Howson will come away from that BBC article thinking he's one of the good guys.

Which was, of course, the reason the article was written.

You have to ask yourself why? Are the sport desk rags at Media City allowed to do whatever they like?

From what we’ve seen over the last few years and more so just recently it’s obvious they do whatever they like.

Spot on its blinkered propaganda. It’s a sad reflection on the evaporation of standards at the BBC. You can imagine a spotty red pitching this story to another red in charge. It’s a great public interest story. No balance. No mention of the ways this oaf has tried to leverage Utd over the years. I imagine it’s a shoe in for an Autumn series alongside, ‘Salford FC - attempting to get by on a shoestring.’ ‘Phil Jones goes undercover in the murky world of gurning‘and ‘upskirting for beginners’. It’s consistently sickening and vomit inducing. You can bet that this thread will still be running in 10 years time. It’s never going to change and will get worse as the last remnants of investigative and balanced journalism is replaced by crap that gets clicks. I remember my dad was incredulous when mid stream papers began to lead with news stories from TV soaps. It’s not worthy news he would say and simpletons delight. Football is going/has gone the same way.
